    Suite à une mise à jour le 23/06/10 je constate :
    - aMSN ne parvient plus à établir la connexion
    - Firefox ne me permet plus de me connecter à un forum (les identifiants et mots de passe sont bons, il m'identifie puis me rejette immédiatement). Ca marche avec Konqueror.
    - L'heure de mon PC est devenue fantaisiste. J'ai supprimé la mise à l'heure synchronisée par le réseau, pour voir...

    Je ne vois pas bien en quoi ces soucis peuvent être liés, mais ils sont tous dépendants de ma connexion internet...

    Moi aussi je suis dans la mécanique.
    Moi aussi j'en ai eu assez de la suprématie et des bugs Microsoft
    Moi aussi j'ai été séduit par le libre, par Linux
    .... et moi aussi j'ai eu (et j'ai toujours de temps en temps) mon lot de problèmes irritants 😉

    Et pourtant quelques spécialistes sont passés à la maison essayer de résoudre le truc directement !

    Mais je me suis accroché et je boote à 99% sur Fédora (11)

    Ceci dit, au milieu des réponses trop techniciennes pour les débutants, des "rtfm" (Ubuntu....) et autres arguments de "spécialistes" (pas en pédagogie), j'ai trouvé aussi une communauté avec quelques uns qui donnent beaucoup d'eux même.
    Rien que pour ça, pour eux, j'évite de m'énerver comme toi 😉
    Et à vrai dire quand j'ai un problème je ne poste plus. Si je trouve la solution dispo tant mieux. Je cherche par moi même, et si je ne trouve pas, je contourne (je scanne avec un XP en machine virtuelle....)

    Linux reste un OS complexe pour qui n'a pas de connaissances de base en informatique, et ne souhaite pas y consacrer 2 ou 3 heures par jour.
    Quand je dis connaissances de base, je veux dire comprendre les principes, comprendre ce que l'on fait, comment ça marche et ce que ça implique, et non pas recopier bêtement les 5 lignes de code (sous root bien sur) que l'on a trouvé sur un forum.

    Faut le savoir et l'accepter c'est tout 🙂

  • Si ça peut aider les autres, je confirme l'évolution de ma situation :

    Hier la version le 2.6.30.9-96.fc11....etc ne fonctionnait pas (écran noir), et je n'avais pas possibilité d'installer le kmod-nvidia-2.6.30.9-96.....

    J'ai bien les dépôts :
    - RPM Fusion for Fedora 11 - Free
    - RPM Fusion for Fedora 11 - Non Free
    + Les 2 même avec - Updates

    Je suppose que modmol a les dépots "test updates" pour avoir trouvé le kmod 9-96 hier.

    Bref j'ai préféré attendre, et effectivement ce matin le kmod-nvidia-2.6.30.9-96..... était dispo pour moi.

    Je l'ai installé et tout marche au poil 😉

    Donc si j'ai bien tout compris ça devrait marcher....

    Actuellement ça ne fonctionne qu'avec la 8-64.
    Avec la 9-90 et la 9-96 j'ai le même symptome d'écran noir

    Celui là kmod-nvidia-2.6.30.9-90.fc11.x86_64.x86_64 devrait être ok ?
    si tu as les pilotes proprio je pense que, comme dit la doc, il nécessite un mkinitrd (u que le driver nouveau est par défaut dans le initrd du noyau)
    donc je pense que si tu refais un mkinitrd comme redis dans la doc, ça va passer
    sinon dis nous ce que tu as en bootant en init 3 => ajouter 3 après la seconde ligne dans grub
    Suite à ton conseil j'ai testé ça n'a rien donné 🙁

  • Problème similaire pour moi à mon avis :

    Version précédente : 2.6.30.8-64.fc11.x86_64
    Pas de soucis

    Mise à jour d'hier : .6.30.9-90.fc11.x86_64
    Grub se lance bien. Si je choisi cette dernière version j'arrive au gestionnaire de session
    Si je lance une session sous KDE : écran noir, souris visible et active. Mes applis sont lancées (j'entend la musique d'accueil et Alt-Tab fait réagir l'écran noir...)
    Sous Gnome ça marche, sauf que ma config double écran est aux fraises (encore un xorg.conf qu'il me faudra définir à la main... jamais réussi par l'interface graphique)

    Mise à jour de ce matin : 2.6.30.9-96.fc11.x86_64
    Même comportement.
    J'ai substitué mon xorg.conf par l'ancien qui marchait -> pas mieux
    J'ai booté sur un seul écran -> pas mieux
    Rien à voir donc

    Un problème de pilote de carte ?

    Avec l'ancienne version : 2.6.30.8-64.fc11.x86_64 depuis grub, tout marche bien

    Je ne sais pas si mon post est utile pour faire avancer le scmilblick.
    Dans tous les cas merci de commentaires ou réponses "simples" : je ne suis pas informaticien 😉

  • Après une période sans informatique, je donne la fin vu que mon problème est résolu :

    @ nouvo09 : je vois oui.... merci pour ces précieux conseils.

    Et effectivement (merci bus), le paramètre "warmup time" permet de résoudre le problème de temps à la 1ère mie en service.
    Je l'avais sous le nez sans l'avoir vu...

    Bon désolé, j'ai cherché mais pas trouvé (ou pas compris).

    J'ai voulu faire ce que m'a indiqué eddy33.
    Sur le lien donné j'ai trouvé mon scanner, qui redirige sur cette page :

    Avec Pirut, j'ai essayé de trouver "sane-plustek" ou bien "plustek", "sane-epson", etc.... sans succés

    En fait j'ai vu que j'ai déja ces paquets là installés (entre autres) :

    sane-backends-libs-1.0.18-17.fc8x86_64
    sane-backends-1.0.18-17.fc8.x86_64

    Ensuite j'ai essayé de modifier la configuration usb dans "/etc/sane.d/plustek.conf", comme il est proposé dans le lien que je donne plus haut.
    Sans résultat. J'ai donc remis comme à l'origine.

    Où puis-je trouver le driver indiqué par eddy33 (je me penche sur celui là vu qu'il a l'air de correspondre à sane) ?

    Je suis débutant sous Linux et non-informaticien. Merci de votre indulgence si la question est idiote.
    J'ai trouvé une solutions à tous mes soucis sur le forum, sauf à celui là :

    1- Lorsque je lance Xsane, mon Scanner est bien reconnu.

    2- Quand je fais "l'acquisition de l'aperçu", j'entend le moteur du scanner faire un bruit, puis il faut environ 1 minute pour qu'il exécute l'aperçu, à tel point que j'ai cru un moment que ça ne marchait pas...

    3- De temps en temps (et en particulier si je multiplie les aperçus), la fenêtre de visualisation me renvoie une image avec des bandes de couleurs....



    4- Quand je numérise et que je sauvegarde, l'image est OK



    Ces soucis étaient présents avec fédora 7 aussi.

    Avec vous des idées sur ces points ?
