  • Alors j'ai passé un peu de temps à faire des tests hier :
    J'ai bien désactivé le service bluetooth (en fait j'ai bien le blueetooth sur mon laptop mais comme je m'en sers pas je l'ai éteint).

    Le disque dur est un WD Caviar Blue 500Go @5400tr/min en 2.5" (pas un foudre de guerre mais sous F14 je démarrais en un rien de temps).

    Pour la carte wifi, en l'éteignant via la touche de mon clavier, ça ne change rien. (A savoir que d'après mes recherches, "cfg80211: Calling CRDA to update world regulatory domain" se lance avant même l'établissement d'une connexion internet).

    Le problème principal a donc l'air d'être le montage d'une des partitions, et plus précisément la partition boot (sda5) qui est en ext4. J'ai pas eu le temps de finir les recherches mais je continuerai la semaine prochaine et posterai un rapport de bug par la même occasion.

    Quant à F16 je ne pense pas l'installer avant un bon moment, c'est pour ça que j'essaye de bricoler un peu la F15 là.

    Pour la veille sur mémoire, c'est vrai que je ne l'utilise quasiment jamais alors qu'effectivement ça peut être une bonne parade 🙂
  • Euh oui exact, erreur en recopiant, c'est corrigé !
    Il me semble avoir pourtant refait une installation complète quand j'ai installé F15 mais là du coup tu me fais douter.
    J'avais lu le topic où tu en parlais il y a quelques mois mais j'en avais conclu que ça me concernait pas, j'vais retourner y faire un tour.

    EDIT : c'est bien ça, comme je suis sur une LVM, ton problème ne s'applique pas à moi :-?

    Ayant un peu de temps ces jours-ci, j'ai décidé de me mettre sérieusement à la résolution du dernier problème qui subsiste sur ma F15 : le temps de boot.
    Pour commencer, la config :
    *Laptop
    *I5-430M
    *HD5730 + chipset Intel (c'est ce dernier qui est utilisé, la cg dédiée est éteinte)
    *HDD 500GB

    Sur le HDD, j'ai une partition étendue qui contient le boot (ext4) et une LVM qui, elle, contient le /home en ext4 et / en btrsf.

    Il y a donc deux services qui durent vraiment trop longtemps : fedora-storage-init.service et udev-settle.service.
    La seule solution que j'ai trouvé, en parcourant mon meilleur ami, est de faire :
    # ln -s /dev/null /etc/systemd/system/udev-settle.service
    # ln -s /dev/null /etc/systemd/system/fedora-wait-storage.service
    # ln -s /dev/null /etc/systemd/system/fedora-storage-init.service
    # systemctl daemon-reload
    Or, si j'ai bien compris (l'anglais et moi...), la procédure n'est à effectuer que si on n'a ni LVM ni RAID.
    Si quelqu'un a une autre solution à proposer, je suis preneur 🙂

    Et d'ailleurs, le boot.mount est un peu long aussi j'ai l'impression mais j'ai pas non plus trouvé grand chose là-dessus...

    Comme cela m'était arrivé lors de l'installation de F13, je n'ai pas de son qui sort de mes enceintes. Cependant, j'ai bien du son si je branche mon casque sur la prise jack.
    J'ai vérifié avec Gmixer, tous est ok. Avec pavumeter, je vois bien qu'il y a du son qui passe (les barres bougent).

    J'ai donc fait un :

    J'ai aussi essayé de créer un fichier snd_hda_intel.conf dans /etc/modprobe.d mais aucun résultat...

    Par ailleurs j'ai l'impression que le fichier dist-alsa est bien peu rempli sur F14 par rapport à F13.

    Pas de son. J'ai déjà eu le soucis sous F13 mais là, la même solution ne marche pas. J'ai l'impression que le fichier de conf qu'il faut modifier n'est plus le même mais j'ai pas encore eu le temps de regarder tout ça.

    Tout fonctionne très bien

    - Points négatifs :
    Pas de driver proprio/libre gérant la 3D pour les ATI et surtout le switch entre la carte graphique du processeur (intel) et la carte graphique principale (ATI).

    C'était donc bien la 0, la 1 c'est la Radeon 😉

    J'ai ensuite ajouté options snd-hda-intel model=auto dans /etc/modprobe.d/dist-alsa.conf.
    Ça n'a donné aucun résultat, en passant sur la doc d'ubuntu, j'ai trouvé le model pour les MSI sur ALC888, il faut mettre options snd-hda-intel model=targa-dig . On redémarre et tout roule 😉

    j'ai récemment fait l'acquisition d'un PC portable MSI E7003.
    Il possède un i5-430m et un HD5730.
    Or, le son ne fonctionne pas sous F13 (noyau 2.6.33.8-149.fc13.x86_64) alors qu'il fonctionne sous seven après installation des pilotes.

    J'ai vérifié, rien n'est en sourdine et tout est au maximum que ce soit dans alsamixer ou gmixer.

    Pour tester je passe en boucle une chanson.
    Dans contrôle du son de gnome, j'ai testé tous les profils dans l'onglet matériel et aucun ne marche. A noter que si j'utilise le chipset son de ma Carte graphique (qui sort sur le port HDMI), pavumeter me montre bien qu'il y a du son mais si j'utilise le chipset son INTEL, rien ne sort.

    De toute façon j'ai pas le choix, F11 commence à être un peu vieux.

  • Je vais tester l'histoire de changer de flash tout à l'heure.
    Pour la ram ça m'étonnerait car sous windows quand je fais des tests de stabilité de mon o/c, il supporte OCCT pendant plusieurs heures mais je peux toujours tester. (voir même virer mon o/c, peut-être n'est-il pas stable sous linux mais bon c'est bizarre que ça se déclenche un jour comme ça alors que ça fait plusieurs mois voire année que l'o/c est fait et que je suis sous linux).

  • Je me demande si ça a pas bloqué aussi à une LAN quand je jouais à Urban Terror mais je suis plus très sûr.
    Donc j'ai lancé FF par la console et j'ai déjà un message d'erreur qui reviens :

    Concernant le rapport bugzilla je suis tombé dessus hier soir aussi et à priori c'est le 2.6.31 qui résout le problème mais je doute qu'il soit proposé pour F11 ?

    Pour .xsession-errors rien de bien probant...

    j'ai depuis peu des freeze de mon système précédé par un bip.
    J'ai un laps de temps assez cours entre le bip et le freeze et si je réduis firefox, ça ne freeze pas et m'affiche un message d'erreur dans ma console intégré au bureau.
    C'est donc vraisemblablement firefox qui est en cause car ça ne se produit qu'en cas d'utilisation de firefox (et je pense même que ça ne se produit que sur les pages où il y a du flash).

    J'ai que 200Mo mais finalement je vais peut-être tenter cette nuit, sur mes DVDs, j'en ai pas un seul qui est reconnu, ils doivent être foutus à force d'effacer/écrire dessus.
