Quelques nouvelles de la documentation des spécifications technique sur le sujet principale!

La version de compiz qui se trouve dans le dépôt "update-testing" fonctionne très bien avec le pilote proprio!

Retour des tests et des informations des pilotes libres d'ici la fin de la semaine prochaine si j'ai le temps de tout finir!

Au passage! je prend avec grand plaisir vos différent "modeline" comme décrit dans la solution en haut de la page 9 pour faire les choses plus simplement!

Je viens de faire la mise à jour depuis update-testing et ... ça ne marche pas mieux pour moi !🙁

au lancement, j'obtiens toujours ça :

Cela ce mets dans la section "monitor"! il faut en créer une!

Tu à fait l'amalgame entre "mode" et "modeline"! mode ce mets bien dans la section "screen"!

Désolé Vindicators, je suis un vrai boulet, en lisant ton poste, je comprenais qu'une nouvelle version de Compiz fonctionnait avec la version de X11 de Fedora8 !

J'ai appliqué ta doc... ça fonctionne mais..... mes fenêtres ne se rafraîchissent pas (elles fonctionnent, j'ai testé) ! Un idée ?

Alors... je vais refaire des tests sous gnome, parce que sous kde je n'ai pas eu ce genre de problèmes!

Oui le xorg.conf est ok!

Si tu pouvais me dire ce que tu a dans le fichier /etc/ati/amdpcsdb stp?

Il faut créer une section "monitor" avec les paramètres de ton écran, je vais voir pour en retrouver une pour l'exemple! Si je ne me trompe pas, il existe un option dans le panneau de contrôle de gnome pour changer la résolution de l'écran uniquement dans gnome.... à voir si cela n'aide pas (j'ai eu ce problème sous kde, qu'une modification du fichier qui prend la résolution par défaut à corrigé!).

Après ils se peut que les "mobility" soient un peut à la ramasse! regarde ce que tu a de coché dans fusion-icon au niveau de "compiz-option" et regarde si en changeant le décorateur de fenêtre n'aide pas un peut (emerald c'est pas toujours le pied soit dit en passant!).

euh... je te demande ce que tu a dans ton fichier qui se trouve ici : /etc/ati/amdpcsdb

Et pour la section monitor elle n'est pas complète! en plus tu ne lui à pas mis un nom! nom que tu devra récupérer dans la section screen!

Bouh... personne a une solution pour mon problème de fenêtres qui ne se rafraîchissent pas lorsque je lance Compiz ??
Tout fonctionne bien, le cube, le ALT-TAB mais les fenêtres paraissent figées. ça doit etre un problème de rafraichissement. Je ne vois pas de paramètre pour régler ce problème 🙁

C'est le compiz-fusion du dépot testing que t'as installé ?
je croyais que ça marchais avec le xorg de fedora 8. là je vois que t'as gardé le xorg de fc7.
J'y comprend plus rien là....

Encore une fois (bon puisque tu est dans le 64 je prendrais un marteau pour te le faire rentrer dans la tête 😉)!

Ce n'est pas compiz qui pose problème mais la version du serveur graphique!!!

Donc faut laisser le xorg-X11-server de la F7!

ronan_linux a tu mis à jours avec la version qui se trouve dans update-testing (qu'il me semble que cela a était fait dans le "updates" officiels...)?

En fait, normalement, c'est la version de update-testing. mais j'ai l'impression que c'est en effet passé dans les updates officiels.

Remet par défaut les paramêtres de compiz en supprimant le répertoire .compiz qui se trouve dans .config/ de ton utilisateur (il est caché!).
