    J'ai pris volontairement des exemples qui créent souvent la polémique. 🙂

    Ceci étant, je crois que tu as pris mon intervention pour toi alors que ce n'étais pas le cas. Je m’aperçoit aussi que je n'ai pas réussi à faire passer le message que je voulais :

    Même si il n'a "rien inventé", il fait partie des personnes qui ont fait bouger les choses. Le comparer à Einstein est complètement irréaliste, mais le traiter comme un moins que rien aussi (je ne parle pas pour toi 😉) Et c'est contre ça que je me suis prononcé.

    1 - Il a surtout récupéré Wozniak a cette époque, lui il s'occupait surtout de trouver des financement et de vendre leurs produits). Un peu comme Bill gates qui a coulé sciemment OS2 d'Ibm pour imposer window. Bref la souris ou les pointeurs on en avait avant Apple.
    2 - Avant Mac os X il y a eut macOS et avant Next il y avait aussi des interfaces graphiques.
    3 - C'est un département d'images de synthèse qui été bradé, et à ce moment là Lasseter cherchait à monter sa boite.

    Bref tout ça pour dire que Steve Jobs à sortie son premier Mac en 1984 et à commencer à vendre à partir de 1985 (et à se faire éjecter). Alors que si tu regarde bien avant tout ça, la micro informatique a vraiment décollé dans les années 80. On avait les Silicon graphics sorties en 82 avec processeur Motorola (que l'on retrouvera dans les Mac) puis Sparc et risc puis Arm. Etc... Bref tout ça pour dire qu'il y avait pas mal de gens à cette époque sur le créneau, il en est resté un principalement car il a réussit à vendre un concept. Mais ce ne fut pas le seul.

    Malheureusement en écoutant les infos. et les commentaires sur les différentes média depuis ce matin c'est un peu comme résumer l'invention du système d'exploitation et du traitement de texte à Bill gates.

    Note dans mes commentaires, je ne donne jamais d'arguments pour ou anti Apple, je dis simplement que l'on entend ou lis n'importe quoi aujourd'hui.

    Je sais bien que Knoppix existe encore, mais, avec ce qu'offrent les LiveCd, son utilisation m'est de moins en moins nécessaire.
    Et je me demande bien pourquoi un LiveCD ne pourrait pas démarrer un grub, il s'approcherait d'un couteau suisse sans prendre beaucoup d'embonpoint.

    Avec le live ce n'est, à ma connaissance, pas possible. Tu peux le faire sans problème avec le média d'installation en démarrant en mode rescue.

    Non ce n'est pas le problème initial, mais cela permet de le résoudre et d'insister (on ne le fera jamais assez) sur la nécessité de faire des sauvegardes.

    Si tu as un trou de mémoire sur un nom de commande ou sur la liste de test disques /partitions l'auto-complémentation est ton assistante.

    @opossum1er : Il me demande le password du default keyring (qui n'est pas mon password...). Sous fc8 il y avait un default.keyrings dans .gnome2/keyring qu'on pouvait supprimer.
    Sous fc9 ce default.keyring est remplacé par un login.keyring : je n'ai pas osé le supprimer...!
    Je sais bien que la clé WEP devrait etre mise dans un trousseau (le login.keyring ?)
    Via système>preferences>système>gestionnaire de trousseau je ne vois pas grand chose : j'ai pu créer un trousseau mais je suppose que c'est via NM que je pourrai mettre la
    clé dedans. Le problème semble provenir de cette absence d'accès à une icone NM

    oui bien sûr. Un RPM gère ses dépendances... Tu peux regénérer un RPM à partir de ses sources et être incapable de l'installer ensuite car il manque des dépendances. Et ces dépendances me semblent liées à F10....

    Moi aussi je pense que beaucoup de paramètres de smb.conf ne sont pas utilisés par smbclient (il sont utilisés par smbd donc si le samba est serveur), mais je pense qu'il faut quand même un smb.conf correct pour utiliser smbclient.

    Merci de tes encouragements, mais smbclient -L même en cas d'erreur d'authentification affiche la partie OS et Serveur, par contre l'utilisation 'smbclient //serveur/partage' ne peut pas aller très loin en cas d'erreur d'authentification.
    Je me sers souvent de smbclient comme outil de diagnostique (surtout avec -d4 ou d9) en cas de problème .
    Quand on a le 'NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE' tout de suite cela ressemble à un serveur qui ne partage rien ou un mauvais accès NetBios, ou (quand c'est un serveur samba) quand samba n'est pas démarré.

    Cela voudrait dire que son F6 avait accès à un wins ou passait le/les firewall alors que son F9 ne le peut pas.

    Y-a-t-il un administrateur réseau sur le réseau ?
