slt a tous je veut installer vmware server mais ca ne passe pas coté dépendence voici la liste installé
Voici les commandes effectuées :

yum install kernel-headers
yum update kernel
yum install gcc
yum install kernel-devel
yum install kernel kernel-devel gcc make
yum install xinetd gcc gcc-c++
yum update

bon désolé pour le retard mais j'ai pu régler le probléme grace vos explications j'était pas assez concentré le probléme été au niveau du "chainloader" j'avais écrit "chainlader" et au niveau de partion c'etait plutot "hd0,6" au lieu de "hd0,8" pour le /boot.merci pour vos réponses .

slt je suis de retour mais c a ne marche toujours pas en faite j'ai installé le grub de fedora dans le /boot que j'ai créer pour evité qu'il n'écrase le grub de debian qui serait une catastrophe pour moi.et j'ai lu dans un forum que ce probléme est du au format de l'ext4 que j'utilise avec fédora car debian ne connait pas encore le format ext4.est ce que c'a peut être ca?

@hitech-user j'ai essayé ta méthode mais ca ne marche pas!
@nouvo09 j'ai ferait ta manip le week-end mais si j'avait crée une partion /boot au depart pour fedora est ce que l'installation de debian aurait pris en charge fedora dans le grub ?

bon Merci pour la conjugaison! je suis sur debian en ce moment.au debut j'avait debian et XP sur ma machine maitenant j'ai essayé d'installer fedora 12 dans un de mais partition libre. et quand j'ai fini l'installation de fedora il n'a pas detecté mes autres systmes.par la suite j'ai encore reinstallé debian en éspérant qu'il vas touver tous les systemes mais il n'a détecté que XP.donc la j'ai fedora qui est toujours installer sur ma machine.et je veut qu'il soit dans le grub au démarage
