Bonjour,

Clamav en est à la version 0.96, fedora à la version 0.95, les définitions de virus datent de octobre 2009. J'ai installé Klamav pour mettre à jour le tout mais cela ne met pas à jour clamav ni les définitions de virus. Un yum update clamav m'indique que je dispose du dernier package clamav.
Comment faire la mise à jour?

Normalement c'est la commande freshclam qui doit le faire.
Voilà ce que ça me dit d'après les suggestions du wiki de clamav (http://wiki.clamav.net/Main/UpgradeInstructions)

Après si il a envie : 
yum install clamav --enablerepo=updates-testing

J'ai une question bête mais les définitions de virus sont liées à la version de clamav?
Parce que ça date du 28 octobre 2009, donc je peux comprendre que l'on puisse pas passer à la version 0.96.1 (sachant qu'il y a la version 0.96 avant) mais les définitions de virus j'ai un doute tout de même.
Si tu lances freshclam, il t'affiche la version des définitions :

donc tu as la dernière version des définitions de virus, pour le moteur, comme indiqué plus haut, il sera bientôt dispo pour Fedora.

Merci à toi proxy, en faite ma confusion vient de l'interface clamtk, en effet après avoir fait la mise à jour par la commande freshclam, l'interface clamtk n'est pas mise à jour:


Il faut se rendre dans vérifier les mises à jour et rechercher les mises à jour, après une longue connexion on obtient ensuite cela:


Enfin l'interface principale se met à jour:

Si c'est pour faire un relai de mail vers des machines Windows pour éviter que les mails infectés passent.
C'est une idée entre autre mais bien souvent c'est juste pour éviter de faire transiter des fichiers vérolés vers d'autres machines.

Effectivement ayant un HDD externe en NTFS pour le rendre compatible avec windows (ou Mac, mais là, pareil les antivirus sont bien moins utiles), je viens d'installer Clamav.

Simple remarque : quand on fait "yum install clamav", les dépendances de base sont bien installées. Par contre, clamav-update qui permet de faire freshclam, ainsi que les dépendances liées, n'est pas installé. Je trouve cela étrange, car avoir un antivirus non à jour ne me parait pas très utile, et il me semble donc que cela devrait être incorporé.

Et sinon, il va maintenant falloir que je cherche comment scanner des disques, ce qui ne doit pas être très compliqué
