C'est possible d'avoir une clé usb pour pouvoir faire une netinstall sur un netbook ?
Ma clé fait 512Mo, donc le live rentre pas.

J'ai essayé de créer une image avec kickstart depuis f11. Après bidouiller le fichier pour f12 et non f11, j'ai une erreur:

C'est possible d'avoir une clé usb pour pouvoir faire une netinstall sur un netbook ?
Tu dois pouvoir y arriver en installant la netinstall sur ton usb
justement, je me demandais si cela fonctionnait de prendre le dvd d'installation et de faire une copie bloc à bloc (dd if=/image.iso of=/dev/sdX) vers une clef usb ?
quelqu'un a déjà essayé ?

pour info cela ne fonctionne pas
Il me semble que liveusb-creator est limité à la création de clés usb bootables pour les isos de "systèmes live" non ?
si tu enlève X et tu fais une installe en mode texte je pense que ça devrait rentrer sur 512 mais bon pour quoi pas acheté une clé de 2 Gio tu en as pour 3 fois rien

Oui mais depuis le system live tu peux lancer une install sur le DD.
du coup comment fait on si on veut mettre à jour une installation sans utiliser pre-upgrade et qu'on a pas de lecteur dvd sur la machine ?
J'ai l'impression qu'il n'y pas solution simple (ou plutot clé en main)
en lisant la doc du site sur les live usb c'est facile j'en fait 2 a chaque release de fedora une en i686 l'autre en x86_64

la doc parle de ça mais aussi de kickstart pour les iso perso
un mois plus tard
moi ce que je cherche à faire c'est mettre à jour une F10 en F12 sans passer par pre-upgrade et sans lecteur dvd...
vu que je ne trouve pas de moyen simple de le faire (j'ai essayé la copie de de l'iso du dvd sur une cle avec dd) je pense que je vais me retaper une installation depuis une live usb.....

Ce ne sont pas les moyens qui manquent :
* booter sur l'ISO DVD, voir installation sans media dans la documentation
* créer une clé USB avec l'ISO DVD, voir http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=205596
* booter sur boot.iso installé sur une clé USB
* etc.
