ben... je constate seulement qu'avec le kmod-nvidia-96xx installé j'ai des problemes sur la video en surf.
et kmod-nvidia-96xx désinstallé pas de pb. vidéos en surf.

aussi utilisé ancienne version -> mplayerplug-in 3.35-fc6

la cohabitation mplayerplug-in et nvidia proprietaire frezzes la video (sur les flux .wmv) avec la carte Gforce4 MX440.
la cohabitation mplayerplug-in et le pilote natif linux fonctionne (si tu veux un site test --> www.bushcom.fr)

Je traine sur Pci tous les soirs, j'ai le temps de lire les posts... Et je reconnais assez bien les avatars. :lol:

Ce type m'a conforté dans ma deuxième découverte du monde Linux, cad le jour où j'ai compris que Linux était un monde qui évolue et que demain ne sera que meilleur qu'aujourd'hui. (cad plus loin que le premier stade : la découverte et l'apprivoisement)

Une question importante : as-tu activé les "effets 3d" (aiglx&co) ?

Car, si c'est le cas, il faut parfois modifier sa configuration de mplayer pour l'adapter à l'environnement.
Dans ce cas, essaye :

Dans ton /home/toi/.mplayer/config (si ce fichier existe pas, créé le) rajoute :
vo=gl(2) (Essaye d'abord avec le "2" puis, sans. Sinon, tente "xv").

Sinon, si tu as pas activé les "effets 3d", tente juste de mettre "xv". Si tu veux la liste des sorties que mplayer est capable d'utiliser, la commande c'est :
#mplayer -vo help

(note que pour le son c'est : #mplayer -ao help)

j'ai reinstallé encore kmod-nvidia-96xx pour l'accélération 3D,
- désinstallé mplayerplug-in, reboot, et installation de mplayerplug-in du dépot livna,
depuis je surfe + vidéo sans problèmes.
alors je tente l'installation de fedora-xgl mais les depots fedora-xgl et compiz n'est pas disponible
par yum --enablerepo=fedora-xgl install compiz xorg-x11-server-Xgl
le dépot fedora-xgl est-il fermé ou saturé ?

Ce dépot n'est plus d'actualité pour Fedora Core 6 et lorsque tu as un drivers qui permet d'utiliser en natif les bureaux 3D!
regardes sur le site la documentation pour installer beryl ou compiz... (tu dois utiliser le driver 96xx cela ne marche pas avec le driver legacy!)

Désolé Jeanmarcel mais là c'est vrai que tu essayes de faire une énorme bourde ! Fedora aime bien AIGLX et beryl... 🙂

Crées un nouveau repo (nouveau fichier beryl.repo) dans /etc/yum.repos.d/ avec ça dedans :
