Arg, j'envisagais de plus en plus cette situation (ou une mise à jour du bios...ce qui détruit la garantie), j'espère ne pas en arrivé là. A noter tout de même que dans mon cas, ce sont les touches fnfx associé au wifi et à la luminosité qui ne répondent pas.

J'ai un Dell avec la même carte que toi

Et elle marche nickel out-of-the-box. J'ai pas installé de driver supplémentaire.

Essaye de virer tous les drivers que t'as installé manuellement et de faire une mise à jour de ton BIOS si possible.

Sinon je ne vois pas... Elle marche sous Windows ?
J'ai un pc clevo Barbelone B5130M. C'est un pc achetez sans OS. Je ne peut tester sous Windows car je n'ai pas de licence sous la main (c'était le but de ne pas donner d'argent à Micro$oft).

Pour la mise à jour du bios, j'aimerais l'éviter car ca tue ma garantie.

Par contre, une mise à jour de BIOS n'a jamais cassé la garantie. Tu n'ouvres pas ton PC physiquement ; de plus tu trouveras ladite mise à jour sur le site de Clevo. Par contre, après recherche, y'a pas d'update BIOS.

Je ne sais pas, attends qu'un connaisseur passe par là 🙂

De la bouche des gens de chez clevo, la mise à jour du bios casse ma garantie. Je préfère donc ne pas y toucher.

@ scapers : moi aussi c'est un clevo ... et je conirme qu'on ne peut pas flashé le bios (pas de maj officielle dispo pour tous et que si on me fait Clevo m'avait dit aussi que ce cassé la garantie ...)

Moi j'ai renvoyé mon pc pour qu'il me change la carte wifi sans frais sauf de transport (60 euros tout de même) :-x

Salut a tous.

Je permet d'intervenir car je possède comme toi un clevo B5130m.
J'avais demander la fameuse carte wifi 5300AGN pour du 450mbp mais ils m'ont aussi mis la 6300...

Et je rencontre le même problème que toi (exactement les même messages), ala différence prêt que je tourne sous archlinux.
J'ai essayer avec ubuntu et sa me fait la même chose.

Enfaite d'après ce que j'ai compris, cela viendrais du fichier firmware (contenu dans /lib/firmware) ne contenant pas notre référence de carte et ainsi c'est pour cela que dmesg nous répond "too old" (trop vieux).

Soit il faut attendre l'edition d'un nouveau fichier firmware (je regarde tout les jours), soit tu change de carte.

Si jamais tu renvoi chez clevo explique moi ce qu'il ont fait.

Pour le moment je tourne sous windows car pas le choix pour pouvoir utilisé le pc et parce que j'ai des logiciels qui en tourne que sous windows (arch reste quand même installer) et de plus l'optimus en fonctionne pas sur linux.

Une petite question tu a réussi a paramétrer ton pc pour évité que il ne souffle/chauffe de façon trop importante ?

J'ai résolu mon problème de wifi il y a une semaine en télechargant le kernel 2.6.36.2, en modifiant le code source et en le recompilant.

Voici la procédure à suivre:

Driver Wifi Mini-Half PCI-E Intel 6300ABGN 802.11N draph 450Mb.

Soltuion: récupération du dernier kernel stable, modification code source, recompilation, installation et mis à jour du grub (merci Fahad Alduraibi )

Defect restant: touche de luminosité fn+F8 et fn+F9 non reconnnu.
Solution : en attente d'un nouveau bios a flasher

Regression: mon pc ne se met plus en veille ni en hibernation alors que sous le précedent kernel sans modif de code, il pouvais hiberner et se mettre en veille. De plus, j'ai des sons niveau système assez génant (ex: son d'une bombe quand j'ai plus de batterie et que je peut pas le mettre en veille).

Bon je fais un double post si cela peut aider des gens,

Concernant la régression du wifi non reconnu dans les kernels récent à cause de l'abandon du support d'Intel (-_-): la carte wifi est reconnu jusqu'au kernels 2.6.32 (2.6.32.26 testé). Au dela (kernel 2.6.33+), la carte wifi n'est plus reconnu.

Concernant le problème de non mise en veille et hibernation, il apparait dans les vieux kernels (type 2.6.32). En revanche avec un kernel récent vierge (non recodé) de type 2.6.35++ la mise en veille est fonctionnelle.

Concernant mon problème de non mise en veille suite au recodage du kernels, il fallait en fait effectuer les modifications de code dans le fichier
drivers/net/wireless/iwlwifi/iwl-agn-eeprom.c
et non dans le fichier
drivers/net/wireless/iwlwifi/iwl-eeprom.c
. Résultat, plus de problème de mise en veille. En revanche le pc ne se met plus en hibernation.

Concernant le problème de bootloader graphique perdu (cf http://forums.fedora-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=443276#p443276), en fait il manqué une étape dans l'installation du kernel:
/sbin/new-kernel-pkg --package kernel --mkinitrd --depmod --install 2.6.37
. Ca permet de générer automatiquement un fichier initrd (Linux initial RAM disk) et de mettre à jour automatiquement le fichier de conf du grub.

Autre problème résolu: le son système. En effet suite au modification du code source du kernels j'avais ce son système assez horrible à la longue. Pour le désactiver, deux méthodes:
a-méthode 1) La commande rmmod permet de désactiver des services associés au matériel (à l'inverse de modprobe qui les actives):
rmmod pcspkr
Pour automatiser cette tâche placer cette commande dans le fichier /etc/rc.local

b-méthode 2): ajouter le service pcspkr dans le fichier blacklist suivant: /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

Etant donné que l'on ne peut pas compter sur Intel pour régler ce problème et que ce problème persist depuis bientôt 9 mois, je pense qu'il est peu probable que dans les nouvelles versions des distributions Linux ce bug soit corrigé via un bugfix sur le kernel directement.

Defect restant: touche de luminosité fn+F8 et fn+F9 non reconnnu.
Solution : en attente d'un nouveau bios a flasher

Regression:
- mon pc ne peut plus hiberner.
- Plus que 2,8 Go de RAM sur mes 8Go sont detecté...

Autre chose lorsque je ferme mon pc pour le mettre en veille et lorsque je le réouvre, j'obtiens un joli bug kernel rapporté par mon gestionnaire de rapport de bug automatique (même si la mise en veille a fonctionné du point de vue user):

Mais depuis ce matin j'ai recu pour la 2éme fois mon clevo avec une carte 6300 aussi et ca fonctionne sur une f13 et une F14 sans rien ajouté que les pilotes iwl ...

Merci pour ta réponse, c'est intéressant.
Ma carte wifi ne marche pas sous les kernels supérieur au 2.32.
Quel est ton kernel? Est ce que tu sais ce qu'on fait les gens de chez clevo (ont il modifier le code source du kernel ou ont ils juste changer la carte graphique --je leur avais filé l'@ de ce sujet sur le forum). Si ils n'ont rien touché ca veut dire qu'ils ont acheter la carte chez un fournisseur Intel (champ eeprom ok).

Autre chose: j'envisageais de plus en plus à changer ma carte wifi. Entre les frais de port pour le retour au sav et l'achat de ma propre carte graphique c'est quasi kif kif. J'ai actuellement une 6300 défectueuse. Je me demande donc si je dois acheter une autre 6300 (à partir d'un fournisseur Intel -- en connaissez vous un fiable?) ou prendre une autre carte wifi aux capacité équivalente (en connaissez vous de fiables?)

mon kernel est le dernier a jour de la f14 :

J'ai refait une installation compète de la f14 en reformatant le disque dur car avant j'avais une f13, donc je pense que le problème est bien matériel ...

A noter aussi :

Ok donc ils ont bien remplacé par une carte wifi 6300 fonctionnelle (c'est possible). Le problème était bien matériel (rien avoir avec Linux ou Fedora -_) et est ré-solvable. C'est encourageant. Je ne sais pas trop encore quoi faire avec ma carte wifi (cf edit de mon poste précédent).
Pour le reste je ne connais pas de fournisseur de carte wifi seule le renvoi c'est 60 euros par chronopost (avec l'assurance sinon c'est moins cher ).

Je pense que c'est la meilleure solution même si on reste sans ordi pendant 10 a 15 jours, mais il faut leur téléphoner pour être sur qu'il prenne bien le problème en compte d'ailleurs moi, il m'ont même rappelé ...

Ok merci pour l'info. Mon problème c'est que j'ai fait de mon nouveau pc portable mon ordi de travail principale et que je suis en ce moment pas mal surchargé de travail donc c'est génant. Je vais y réfléchir, je te remercie.

Sinon si des personnes connaisses un endroit où acheter des carte wifi Intel fiable ou si vous connaissez d'autre bonne carte wifi équivalent, je suis preneur.

Je comprends, pourquoit tu veux changer de carte wifi ? après avoir modifier les options sa fonctionnent non ? ou alors tu arrive toujours pas à le mettre en veille ?

Sinon de genre de carte ce trouve sur le net et chez clevo je crois, j'essay de vérifier la.

Je réfléchi à l'idée de changer de carte wifi car ce problème ne me semble pas ré-solvable (il faudra pour chaque nouveau noyau le recoder et le recompiler) et surtout j'ai tout de même quelques soucis avec la modif du kernel:

Pour la carte le soucis c'est que le fournisseur doit être fiable. Donc que le revendeur a bien acheté la carte chez un fournisseur Intel. Ce qui n'a pas été le cas pour la 6300 qui est à l'intérieur de mon pc (j'avais un eeprom too old)... :-?
