the Japan 5GHz changes to the 1.3.0 Driver. This release supports the
UB51/52 hardware. This release has been through the testing listed in
the Testing section below. This release supports the features listed
in the Features section.
2 Driver
This release supports the standard Wireless Tools v26 for the configuration
and Statistics.
This release has been tested on:
Redhat 9.0 Distribution with kernel version 2.4.20
Suse 9.0 Distribution with kernel version 2.6.4
Fedora Core 3.0 Distribution with Kernel version 2.6.9
3 Installer
This release is provided in 3 different RPMs. They are:
- LinuxUsbBin2.4-1.3.1-5.i386.rpm: This is a complete binary rpm for the 2.4
kernel.
- LinuxUsbBin2.6-1.3.1-5.i386.rpm: This is a complete binary rpm for the 2.6
kernel.
4 Testing
The following testing has been done:
- Global Mode testing for Japan 5GHz.
- Installation testing
5 Limitations and Known Issues
- It has been noticed that on some laptops this driver has not showed the
scan list.
- This driver does not have facility to write the EEPROM to change the
regulatory domains, due to this reason the write protected USB cards can
not be made writeable and will not be able to update the recent Japan 5GHz
register changes on the old cards that are in field.
Known Issues:
- This release does not support CCX1.0 or CCX2.0.
- There are some performance issues in 11g and 11a mode.

ls -f /lib/module/{module_atheros_usb}.ko /lib/module/${uname -r}/extras/atheros_usb.ko
depmod -a

Bon je me suis décidé a déplacer mon ordinateur provisoirement pour le relier en ethernet j'ai désinstaller les pilote et j'ai essayé de les installer avec l'utilitaire d'installation des paquetages et il me donne l'erreur suivant : Package LinuxUsbBin2.6-1.3.1-5.i386.rpm is not signed sa veut dire quoi?

As tu éssayé de faire "iwconfig wlan0" ?
[root@localhost ~]# iwconfig wlan0
wlan0 No such device
Vesperal
[root@localhost ~]# ndiswrapper -l
Installed drivers:
athfmwdl driver installed, hardware present
net5523 driver installed
[root@localhost ~]# iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.
eth0 no wireless extensions.
sit0 no wireless extensions.
[root@localhost ~]# iwconfig wlan0
wlan0 No such device
[root@localhost ~]#
