J'avais bien appliqué cette procédure et donc j'en étais à 30 secondes de boot.
Je viens de procéder aux correctifs indiqués par Nicoss, Gogi et Fifi.

Oui, mais moi je ne parlais pas d'une simple préférence de démarrage.
Tous mes disques (SATA et SSD) jusque là apparaissaient dans les ordres de démarrage du BIOS y compris l'entrée "Fedora" et c'est elle que je devais mettre en premier choix de boot pour que mon PC boote sur le système Fedora de ma SSD. Si je mettais mon SSD (je n'en ai qu'un) en premier choix alors j'avais un écran absolument, totalement, abyssalement noir et rien ne se passait. Mais si je mettais ce choix spécial (que je n'avais jamais vu auparavant) alors il bootait bien sur mon SSD.

Depuis les mises à jour BIOS, cette option "Fedora" a disparu de mes possibilités de démarrage. Je me suis donc dit que tout était revenu finalement à la normale et que l'option "Fedora" était un bug du BIOS. Pas du tout en fait. Car maintenant je ne peux plus du tout booter sur mon SSD bien que celui-ci apparaisse toujours dans mon BIOS et mes options de démarrage. C'est toujours le puits noir sans fond. Donc, finalement, ça a empiré la situation de faire ces mises à jour.

@ Tout le monde :
Je viens de faire quelques manipulations sur les câbles SATA :

  • échange avec d'autres câbles SATA : idem :
    - même temps de démarrage de mon système en SATA
    - toujours pas de SSD bootable

  • branchement sur les 2 autres ports SATA 6G :
    - impossibilité de démarrer quoi que ce soit, ça bloque dès le départ : pas de menu de démarrage, l'écran de listage CPU / RAM / disques bloque complètement (reboot au clavier impossible)

Peut-être ton contrôleur SATA qui déconne ???
Pour ton Bios EFI, je ne sais pas. J'ai encore l'ancien BIOS sur ma carte-maman.

Tu pourrais essayer de regénérer ton grub... si le ssd est bien reconnu, il devrait apparaître dans ton boot sur le dd.
Si cela marche, ce n'est pas commode de faire la mise à jour du noyau sans bricoler mais comme F26 est presque en fin de vie...
En regardant ton fstab, je vois qu'il est en gpt...
J'ai eu ce problème en mettant un disque  installé dans une nouvelle tour. elle n'a jamais voulu prendre le gpt. C'est tout gpt ou tout 'mbr' apparemment.

F26 sera en fin de vie après la sortie de F28, donc il y a de la marge. Surtout qu'il y a des mises à jours majeurs du noyau encore actuellement...

Normal car GPT/MBR c'est tout ou rien et pis c'est tout! C'est la table de partitionnement quand même! donc il est normal que les deux ne puissent pas cohabiter sur le même disque!

Après le GPT est utiles pour l'UEFI et surtout si les disques font plus de 2To et ont des partitions aussi grande. Mais bon il doit être possible de pouvoir utiliser le MBR, il doit suffire de faire plusieurs partition de 2 To. Après je peux me tromper (perso je ne me suis pas posé la question. Mon nouveau disque de 3To est directement en GPT, même si je n'utilise pas de partition de plus de 1To.).

il s'agit de disques différents. La question est plutôt : peut-on faire cohabiter sur la même carte mère disques gpt et mbr ? à priori oui mais ma petite expérience dit : attention quand on change de carte mère avec des disques préinstallés. Ce qui est un peu le cas ici avec un nouveau bios.

Perso la dernière fois que j'ai changé de carte maman, cela à pris... 10s de plus au premier boot et roulé jeunesse. J'ai même un disque qui a fait 4 générations de carte maman différente (AMD thunderbird avec du chipset via puis passage à un chipset nforce, de l'AMD AM2 pour finir pas intégrer temporairement un i7 Haswell avec chipset z87) sans formatage/réinstallation.

Et oui tu peux très bien faire cohabiter du GPT avec du MBR. La preuve ? et bien... je suis ici wink perso.

Bon, je reprends le dossier car j'aimerais quand même arriver à en finir avec ce ... fichu bazar et retrouver l'usage de ma Fedora sur mon SSD et non plus celle de mon SATA (un boot de 30 '' c'est tout de même mieux que 2 min).

Voici ce que j'ai fait à partir de la Fedora 26 du SATA :
- version de la Fedora utilisée :

Le fichier a été rouvert afin de s'assurer que les modifications ont bien été prises en compte, puis les partitions du SSD ont été démontées avant reboot.

Pour ton hd4, je vois du msdos2 ( après BEGIN /etc/grub.d/10_linux ) et du gpt2 ( après BEGIN /etc/grub.d/30_os-prober ) ??? Où est l'erreur ?

Ouais bon, effectivement ça n'a rien résolu.
Je vais lancer le disque d'install et voir si je peux faire rétablir le boot en conservant mon système et mes données car faire à partir d'un système vers un autre système qui sont sur des configurations de boot différentes, c'est un peu chaud.
Je fais ça demain.

Bon du coup j'ai réinstallé mon système sur SSD et maintenant j'ai retrouvé mon boot EFI et la mention "Fedora" apparaît bien dans les options de démarrage du BIOS.

Par contre toujours ce long temps de démarrage :
