Fedora 41 / Imprimante HP Laser 107w / Impression KO

Bonjour,

Néophyte sur Fedora, et plus généralement sur Linux, j’installe pour la première fois une imprimante HP Laser 107w en Wifi.

Depuis le début, je retrouve mon imprimante dans les paramètres d’imprimante :

Je la retrouve bien via la commande sudo lpinfo -v :

J’ai installé CUPS et uld-hp_V1.00.39.12_00.15, ainsi que l’application “Configuration de l’impression”.

Bonsoir,
Allume l’imprimante.
Télécharge le package hplip
sudo dnf install hplip
Ouvre un terminal et installe l’imprimante
hp-setup -i 192.168.1.12

il faut taper 1 pour sélectionner Network/Ethernet/Wireless

Cela a bien été fait, l’erreur résulte de l’exécution de la commande et de la saisie de l’option 1.

hplip n’a pas détecté l’imprimante. Essaie de pinger ton imprimante et poste le retour de la commande.
ping -c 4 192.168.1.12
Edit: Dans ta box as-tu fait une réservation d’adresse pour ton imprimante? sinon au gré des reboots la box peut lui attribuer une autre adresse ce qui ferait qu’elle ne sera pas joignable à 192.168.1.12

désolé, je n’avais pas vu.
Installe l’utilitaire graphique hp, ce sera plus facile
# dnf install hplip-gui
et attention aux balises ! faq

L’outil HMLIP Graphic Tools est déjà installé avec le programme Logiciel, source Fedora Linux.

donc tu devrais retrouver HPLIP Graphic Tools dans les menus car les copies d’écran ne sont pas de cet utilitaire

Je ne sais pas pourquoi hplip n’a pas détecté ton imprimante. On va tenter autre chose.
sur son site, rubrique téléchargements HP fournit une archive pour ton imprimante “uld-hp_v1.00.39.12_00.15.tar.gz”, déballe-la et exécute le install.sh avec le terminal.

je ne le conseillerais pas. L’utilitaire HPLIP Graphic Tools est fait pour cela et est fait par HP. Pour l’instant il ne l’a pas encore utilisé ou on a pas encore le résultat.

En effet c’est une autre application que j’ai affiché, mais j’ai bien testé l’option HPLIP Graphic Tools.
Lors d’une tentative de détection avec l’option Network/Ethernet/Wireless network, j’ai ceci :

HPLIP cannot detect printers in your network.
This may be due to existing firewall settings blocking the required ports. When you are in a trusted network environment, you may open the ports for network services like mdns and slp in the firewall. J’ai aussi testé avant de créer ce fil de discussion : d’abord en installant install-printer.sh, puis install.sh.

Le message dit qu’il est possible que ce soit le pare-feu qui bloque la découverte de l’imprimante.
Arrête momentanément le pare-feu et réessaye.

sudo systemctl stop --now firewalld
hp-setup -i 192.168.1.12

On en est au même point, hplip ne voit pas l’imprimante.
Installe le package nmap , appuie sur le bouton marche/arret de l’imprimante pour qu’elle sorte de veille, il faut que le témoin wifi soit stable et non clignotant. Poste le retour de:
nmap -sP 192.168.1.0/24
Éteins carrément l’imprimante et poste encore le retour de la même commande.

Non ce n’est pas le même résultat, dans le 1er tableau il y a 11 hosts, dans le 2ème il y a 10 hosts. c’est l’imprimante qu’on a éteint qui manque. c’était juste une vérification, son adresse ip est bien 192.168.1.12
On vérifie si cups est lancé, il me semble qu’a l’installation il est désativé.
