J'ai essayé, avec de bons résultats, plusieurs techniques différentes:
a) 2 bureaux différents (CRT+TV), on passe de l'un à lautre en poussant la souris au-delà de l'écran de l'un vers l'écran de l'autre.
b) 1 bureau étendu sur 2 écrans.
c) 1 bureau cloné sur chaque écran, avec possibilité d'afficher un "overlay" sur la TV (par ex. un film en plein écran sur la TV, alors qu'on est en mode clone = overlay)
Dans les a et b, les 2 écrans peuvent être l'un au-dessus de l'autre ou l'un à côté de l'autre.
Dans chaque cas, on peut définir la TV ou le CRT en écran principal.
Le tout est de bien paramétrer le xorg.conf.

ici ce doit être pour un mode "clone", mais je me souviens plus, j'ai abandonné ce types de config car l'ordi plantait à chaque arrêt ou sortie de Xorg. Ce doit être un problème propre à ma carte vidéo, car j'avais posté pas mal de questions/réponses aux mois de Janvier à Mars sur ce forum sur ce sujet (faire fonctionner une TV ET un écran CRT comme je le faisais sous Win).
Ce que je peux te dire, c'est que ça fonctionne bien avec GXine, ou MPlayer.
fais une recherche dans le forum "configuration" sur le sujet xorg.conf ou nvidia tv-out, bref des trucs du genre.
