En désactivant les extensions et autres, si tout fonctionne, tu pourras activer les extensions l'une après l'autre en relançant ton Firefox à chaque fois.
Je lisais sur un autre fil de ce forum qu'il y a beaucoup de bogues reconnus par les développeurs qui vont être corrigés dans une prochaine mise à jour.
sudo dnf autoremove
peut faire un peu de ménage oublié par dnf
Ton idée de réinstaller Firefox est bonne. Ce serait pas mal de faire un remove firefox et une installation après.

Tu as raison l'expérience à montrer par le passé qu'il ne réinstallerais pas tout.
Comme la F 36 est instable, c'est risqué. Même les FAI ont classé la F 36 comme instable, c'est dire que les infos circulent vite.
En première intentions les extensions et les thèmes
As-tu essayé de désactiver des extensions ? Tes précédents messages font penser à un conflit. L'item Mode de dépannage du menu Aide a déjà rendu de bons services.
Tu ne risque rien puisque tu peux réactiver tes extensions. Regardes du côté des thèmes.
Si tu as une sauvegarde de ton dossier Home, tu devrais pouvoir restaurer ce qui à été fait avec la commande d'effacement qui est une commande pour les cas désespérés de dernier choix.
Mozilla a documenté un tuto pour cette manip.
J'ai dejà vu un plantage de Firefox sur un thème personnalisé.
Une fois le thème par défaut réinstaller tout est rentré dans l'ordre.
Sinon, il y aura toujours la possibilité de désinstaller firefox avec rpm sans ses dépendances
pour connaitre ta version de firefox
rpm -q firefox
firefox-......rpm
Pour désinstaller
rpm -e --nodeps firefox-....rpm version de firefox retournée
ensuite pour réinstaller Firefox
rpm -ivh firefox-...rpm ta version
si tu crains une désinstallation, tu peux demander à rpm de vérifier tous tes paquets et de réparer
rpm -V -a
Ça peut être long.
