J'ai VLC installé sur ma machine (la dernière version dans le dépôt stable :
Nom : vlc
Version : 3.0.0
Révision : 0.33.git20170717.fc26)

C'est une tour avec un proc Intel i5, et une carte graphique GeForce 605 qui tourne avec le pilote nouveau.

Il est impossible pour moi de regarder une vidéo (fichier MKV ou mp4). L'audio marche sans soucis, mais la vidéo affiche un écran noir en saccade. Voici le retour du terminal :
