[Résolu] xscreensaver crash !

Bonjour à tous;
xscreensaver plante régulièrement. Lorsque que l'écran est devenu noir, un mouvement de la souris fait apparaitre l'économiseur d'écran en cours, figé. Je suis obligé de passer en ligne de commande pour redémarrer. Je suis sous l’environnement Xfce.

Apparement "sigterm" n'est pas entendu.

essaie de désactiver l'affichage aléatoire d'images par screensaver. Le processus est bien stoppé mais il redémarre.

J'ai sélectionné "seulement un économiseur d'écran". Xscreensaver plante toujours, non pas sur l'écran noir, mais en se figeant un l’économiseur d'écran.

tu utilises Wayland ? si oui tu peux supprimer le fichier que tu as créé et checher dans google autour du message d'erreur "Xlib: extension "XFree86-Misc" missing on display ":0.0"."

pensant être sous Wayland, j'ai supprimé le fichier que j'avais créé:

sudo rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf

puis j'ai essayé de compiler Xscreensaver depuis les sources après l'avoir désinstaller avec un:

sudo dnf remove xscreensaver

puis, j'ai rajouté tout ce que demandait le "./configure" mais le "make" n'a jamais abouti:roll:.
J'ai donc réinstallé xscreensaver:

sudo dnf install xscreensaver

Pour autant le bug persiste !
Enfin j'ai lancé ceci:

$ echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
x11
$

J'en conclue donc que je suis sous x11:-?, et que rien n'a solutionné mon problème.
Je ne sais plus trop quoi faire sauf peut être passer sous Wayland où installer le pilote propriétaire de Nvidia ?!
Qu'en penses tu ?

Teste wayland effectivement. Je ne vois pas en quoi le pilote nvidia changerait quelque chose, mais si v'edy la seule voie qui te reste pourquoi pas

Je viens de faire un test avec gnome sous Wayland; malheureusement, j’utilise des applications comme "emerald", qui semble ne fonctionner pour l'instant que sous X11.
Je vais donc essayer le pilote Nvidia. A ce sujet, faut il toujours black lister 'nouveau" ?

Je lancerai ce soir la commande:

sudo dnf install akmod-nvidia "kernel-devel-uname-r == $(uname -r)" xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs.i686

Mais après avoir fait une image disque et des sauvegardes. Je préfère être prudent avec ce genre de chose8-).

L'installation du pilote propriétaire Nvidia mène à un écran noir même en black listant "nouveau". Merci à "cloneZilla" :-D.
Tout fonctionnant bien avec "nouveau" sauf Xscreensaver, des investigations ardues pour passer au pilote Nvidia ne me paraissent pas justifiées.
J'envisage de contacter le développeur.
En attendant, je suis preneur de toutes bonnes idées...

pour le xorg.conf, je renommerai l'actuel en xorg.conf.old et je nommerai le xorg.conf.rpmnew en xorg.conf. reboot et regarde ce que ça dit.

pour la carte, c'est drôle parce que là https://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/CodeNames/ ça n'a pas l'air de correspondre. peut être est ce un souci du côté de nouveau. n'hésite pas à envoyer un mail aux devs à ce sujet.

parc que nouveau devrait fonctionner sans soucis a priori : https://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/FeatureMatrix/

pour le "xorg.conf", je n'ai rien fait puisque l'ayant déjà supprimer, il est donc inexistant. Pour le "xorg.conf.new", je l'ai renommé "xorg.conf".
