Impossible d'installer quoi que ce soit !

Bonjour a tous je suis nouveau et donc fedora je ne connais pas trop mais ubuntu je m'en sort pas trop mal avec !
Mon problème est le suivant : Yum m'indique un message d'erreur lorsque je tente d'installer un programme sauf erreur il dit qu'il es déjà utilisé, quesque je peux faire pour qu'il ne m'affiche plus ce message et qu'il télécharge ce que je lui demande ? 🙂

Packagekit est l'outil graphique d'installation/mise à jour des paquets (comme Synaptic chez Ubuntu), tu n'aurais pas eu ce message pendant une mise à jour du système à tout hasard? 😉

Cela s'appelle « Ajouter/supprimer des logiciels » ou « Mise à jour des logiciels » sous Gnome 3, « Apper » sous KDE.

tu dois avoir deux programmes utilisant le,gestionnaire de paquets à savoir packagekit et yum.
tu peux fermer packagekit et yum fera ta mise à jour sans problèmes.
avec le numéro de pid,la commande kill et un man kill en console devrait bien t'aider

PackageKit recherche automatiquement les mises à jour et propose de les installer. pour ce faire il utilise yum.
Et il est impossible de faire tourner deux sessions de yum simultanément.

Non tu ne peux pas utiliser 2 yum en meme temps, car yum s'appuie sur une base de données,
C'est elle qui gere les versions d'applis et les dépendances. Tu comprends bien qu'une installation simultanée d'un programme utilisant la meme bibliotheque en version differente, poserait alors de grave probleme de compatibilité. La base est donc accessible a un seul processus yum.
PackageKit (grrr !) est donc un frontend graphique qui propose de faire les maj, il s'appuie evidemment sur yum en tout cas sur la base.
Que dit ton bash quand tu lances yum

Une autre appli est en train d'utiliser le  verrou yum.
L'autre appli est ...

L'important est le pid : 1684
Dans un shell root tu peux alors essayer

kill -9 1684

Attendre quelques secondes
Puis tu relances yum

Sinon tu attends simplement que PackageKit libère yum, ce qu'il fera au bout de quelques minutes. Si ça peut éviter de killer un yum en pleine action, c'est peut-être pas plus mal...

Je suis d'accord Valdes sf que dans ce cas precis il semble que Pkit ne fonctionne pas car la trace commence avec

Par pas de 2 mn à peu prés.
Ca signifie que son PackageKit n'aboutit pas. Or au bout de 4h ce devrait l'avoir fait.

T'as essayé de couper la connexion Internet ? Ça peut peut-être le réveiller...
Sinon, pas le choix, tu vas devoir killer.
