Salut Internet,

Je viens d'installer Fedora 16 sur mon pc portable Samsumg RV509 et je n'ai pas de Wifi.Je m'explique :
Dans la barre tout en haut à coté du BlueThoot ,là ou il y a "réseaux" quand je clique ,il me met uniquement "réseaux filaire" ,à aucun moment je ne vois "reseaux sans fil" ou un truc du genre,pourtant sur ce Samsung il n y a pas de boutons Wifi a activer : ça s'active tout seul au démarage.
J'ai fouiner un peu sur le forum et je suis vraiment bloquer...je n'ai franchement pas envie d'installer XP sur ma machine.....

Ben déjà en fait ,d'après ta capture d'écran ,toi au moins dans les paramètres réseaux tu a "Filaire/Sans Fil/Mandataire" moi j'ai que "Filaire/Mandataire" donc il manque un truc à la base....

La commande ne renvoit "FATAL: Module brcmsmac not found."
J'ai un autre PC un HP Pavilion sur lequel je trouve exactement le même problème :il y a "réseaux filaire" dans le menu en haut mais impossible de trouver "réseaux sans-fil"...c'est tout de même un peu chiant (désolé pour le terme).

Voici quelques commandes que j'ai tapé (pour le Samsung j'ai abandonné et installé un XP ,j'espère que pour le HP je pourrais garder Fedora..)

Bon ben devant tant d'interet pour mon problème je passe à Centos moins compliqué que cette merde de F16 avec son gnome 3 des chiottes...

Quelqu'un peux t il me conseiller un bon tuto et me dire quel firmware je dois utiliser (openSW...machi truc ?) ?
Est ce que c'est un problème venant de la distribution FEDORA 16 ou de la carte graphique?De manière plus direct ma question est : Si j'installe Ubuntu par exemple est ce que le Wifi fonctionnera?

P.S : je tiens à préciser que je n'ai AUCUN accès à internet sur cette machine..donc tout ce qui est "yum" ne fonctionnera pas...🙁
Je te suggère dans un premier temps de mettre à jour ton système, si ce n'est déjà fait, et d'être sûr d'avoir redémarré ta machine sur le dernier noyau.
Ensuite, tâchons d'abord de tirer parti du support intégré au noyau. Si on ne peut vraiment rien en tirer, on se rabattra sur le pilote wl. Que renvoient les commandes suivantes ?

Je suis au boulot là je ne pourrais retourner les commandes que ce soir.

Mais comment puis je mettre à jour mon système:-( 🙁 alors que je n'ai aucune connexion internet????(est ce que les versions disponible sur le site sont mises à jour?j'entend :est ce que si je re télécharger Fedora 16 et que je l'installe la version sera plus récente? )

Bonsoir: tu ne nous a pas montré le résultat de la commande "lsmod" car selon les pilotes chargés, il faut peut-être en "blacklister"...
Quelle est ton architecture? 32 ou 64 bit?

Je suis sous Fedora 32bits mais s'il le faut je peux réinstaller en 64 bits!
dernière question : tu es en kernel PAE ou pas ?
