[Résolu] Drivers pour carte Dell Wireless 1397

Bonjour à tous,
je viens d'installer Fedora 14 sur un Intell Inspiron Mini 1011 et celui-ci me dis que le micro-contrôleur du logiciel wifi est manquant.
Ma carte est une Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-card, après quelques recherches, j'ai fini par trouver que j'avais besoin des drivers broadcom wl. J'ai cru comprendre que j'en avais 3 à récupéré à cette adresse : http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/releases/14/Everything/i386/os/ mais je sais pas lesquels exactement 🙁

Je prend un peu d'avance aussi en disant qu'une foi que je les aurai récupéré, je ne sais absolument pas comment les installer (je suis habitué à yum install, mais sans connexion internet sous Linux, c'est pas possible).

Ne télécharge rien, ce ne serait pas la démarche la plus appropriée sous Fedora.
Quoi qu'il en soit, il est possible que ta carte wifi soit déjà supportée par le noyau. Que renvoient les commandes suivantes (à lancer en tant que root) ?

Et bien si. Ta carte est bien supportée par le noyau (module b43). Il ne manque qu'un firmware à installer.
Installe le paquet b43-fwcutter et suis les instructions de ce post (ne tiens pas compte des messages précédents du fil) :

Le problème c'est que je ne peux pas utiliser wget puisque je ne peux pas avoir accès à Internet tant que le carte wifi n'est pas reconnu.
Il faut obligatoirement que je récupère le truc en passant par un autre PC 🙁

Il va falloir faire un petit effort et connecter ton PC au réseau, quitte à le déplacer plus près d'une box... Ce sera plus simple pour toi.

... Ou utiliser ton téléphone en mode tethering, pour peu que tu sois sous Android 2.2 ou plus : tu pourras ainsi te connecter en wifi provisoirement en utilisant le téléphone comme périphérique wifi.

Ahah, c'est pas le miens. Je suis donc pas sûr qu'il apprécierai que je l'emporte chez moi pour m'en servir de carte wifi ...

Pas possible non plus de le racorder en filaire, le port ethernet est défectueux ...
C'est pas pour rien que je cherche vraiment à activer cette carte wifi ^^

depuis un autre ordinateur connecté à internet, tu récupères le rpm depuis koji : http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=249702 (en choisissant bien ton architecture).

Tu le copie sur une clé usb (ou autres) et une fois chez toi tu l'installes avec :

yum --nogpgcheck install b43-fwcutter-013-2.fc14.i686.rpm

si tu es en i686
ou

yum --nogpgcheck install b43-fwcutter-013-2.fc14.x86_64.rpm

si tu es en x64.

commande à faire en tant que root et dans le répertoire ou tu as mis ce rpm.

Désolé, je n'est pas percuté que tu est sous F14

Il aurait été plus sage de donner les liens vers les RPM sur des mirroirs Fedora. Koji n'est pas un dépôt, il ne vaut mieux pas encourager son utilisation. Mais les liens restent corrects ici.

Reste encore à télécharger l'archive de binaires dont on extraira les firmwares...

Tu as raison Pikachu, c'est mieux avec les liens des dépôts Fedora (j'utilise beaucoup koji, mais c'est essentiellement pour des test).

J'ai le plaisir de vous répondre sur mon Dell avec un connexion wifi qui fonctionne désormais 😃
J'ai aussi un port ethernet fonctionnel finalement (au passage, ils sont hyper chiant à changer sur les mini laptop de chez Dell, je vous le conseille pas xD), ce qui explique que j'ai pas répondu tout de suite à vos messages.

J'ai fais comme tu me l'a conseillé Pikachu_2014 en suivant les commandes où tu m'avais redirigé.
Merci aussi chepioq, j'ai pas testé ce que tu m'as proposé, mais c'est gentil d'être venu pour m'aider 🙂
