Comme indiqué dans un de me précédent postes:
Aprés avoir fait ca:
make menuconfig
make
make modules
puis en root faire:
make modules_install
cp arch/i386/boot/bzImage /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.37
cp System.map /boot/System.map-2.6.37
Fait ceci pour générer le fichier initrd et mettre à jour automatiquement le fichier grub.conf:
/sbin/new-kernel-pkg --package kernel --mkinitrd --depmod --install 2.6.37
En apaptant bien sur le paramètre "2.6.37.
Autre chose si tu ne l'a pas généré, tu peut t'arranger pour utiliser le fichier initrd de ton ancien kernel en éditant le fichier grub.conf. C'est crade mais ca fonctionne:
title Fedora (2.6.36.2 recode)
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.36.2 ro root=UUID=633c1d40-d1e7-47ab-977d-140c1fe96706 rd_NO_LUKS rd_NO_LVM rd_NO_MD rd_NO_DM LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8 SYSFONT=latarcyrheb-sun16 KEYTABLE=fr-latin9 rhgb quiet
initrd /boot/initramfs-2.6.35.10-74.fc14.i686.PAE.img
Si tu n'a pas de fichier initrd associé au boot d'un kernel, c'est normal que le boot plante. 🙂
