J'ai un nouveau serveur dédié sous Fedora 2.7.5 reloaded avec Plesk.
J'ai un besoin impératif de pouvoir installer Imagemagick,mais je ne sais commeet faire. J'ai cherché un peu partout avant de mettre ce post, j'avais récupérée un rpm mais impossible de l'installer, manque lib**.so etc
Quel package et ou le récupérer pour installer Imagemagick ? Binaire ou source ? je suis assez néophyte sur ces points et si quelqu'un peut me donner la marche à suivre ce serait gentil.
J'ai vue qu'il y avait aussi des packages en zip gz etc, mais je n'ai pas compris comment les installer.

Si tu as une connexion réseau sur ta machine :
yum install ImageMagick

Cela t'installera ImageMagick et les dépendances nécessaires.

Visiblement c'est ta config yum qui va pas.
Edite ton fichier /etc/yum.conf et commence par virer tout ce qui est Testing et Unstable (pas bon du tout en prod, et a moins que tu sois une développeur chevronnée... ca te servira pas à grand chose)

Je peux pas t'aider énormement étant sous FC3, mais jete un coup d'oeil sur les tutoriaux du site et à l'interieur même du forum tu trouvera tout ce dont tu as besoin pour cofigurer yum.

Je crois que ca viens du fait de la différence de version (tu es sous FC2 et moi sous FC3)

Pour ce soir, j'avoue que je sèche aussi. Demain j'aurai accès à un yum.conf qui fonctionne sur une fedora core 2... Si ca peut t'aider.

Fedoratracker.org généres automatiquement un yum.conf à jour même pour la FC2.
Au passage, la FC2 passe en legacy, donc n'est plus supporté officiellement par le projet Fedora et ça veut dire quoi Fedora 2.7.5 reloaded ?? y a jamais eu de branches 2.7.5 :-o

J'ai trouvé un yum.conf qui semble aller, bien que depuis 10 minutes après un yum list il m'affiche une liste interminable de headers (je pense).

Avec le yum.conf utilisé et donné dans ce post, j'ai pu installer ImageMagick sans aucune difficulté.

Si c'est la premiere fois que tu utilisais yum, il est peut etre bon de faire un yum update, histoire de mettre ton systeme à jour. La premiere fois c'est long mais niveau sécurité ca vaut le coup.
