J'essai d'installer pour la première fois fedora 10 sur mon nouveau laptop : Asus X71Q.
Mon principal problème : je n'ai aucun son, ni en sortie haut-parleur, ni via la prise casque.
J'ai trouvé sur le net pas mal de posts concernant des problème de son avec intel hda, sans arriver à le faire fonctionner chez moi.

oui : pulseaudio.i386 0.9.14-1.fc10
moi il marchait pas le HDA intel et j'ai monté le volume PCM et là ya du son.. par contre ma X FI sound blaster elle marche pas.
En effet la premiere des choses est de bien vérifier le niveau des curseurs dans le mixer.

Perso j'ai désinstallé pulseaudio, et ça fonctionne mieux
si tu édite ta carte son

Cette modification n'entraine aucun changement.

Sinon, j'ai essayé d'autres distributions pour mieux cerner le problème :
le son marche : Mandriva et openSUSE avec kde sans modifications.
le son ne marche pas : fedora et ubuntu avec gnome.

que te renvois la comande id(pour verifier que tu appartien bien au groupe pulse pulse-rt et pulse-access) ?

beaucoup de portables ont se problème de son. Essaye de rajouté a ton répertoire /etc/modeprobe.d un fichier alsa-base avec cette ligne: Options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-dig position_fix=0. Un reboot et ca devrait marcher.

j'ai exactement le même souci que sh4dow avec le même chipset. Je n'ai pas de son :-? Le problème n'est pas matériel car il y avait Vista insallé auparavant et ca fonctionnait 😉

pulseaudio est installé, je l'ai supprimé et ca n'a rien changé. Que ce soit au niveau du mixeur HDA Intel ou de pulse audio, le son est à 100%

Ta monté les volumes avec alsamixeur? kmixer? ou le gestionnaire de volume de gnome?
je suis sous kde 😉
quand je tape kmix en ligne de commande, il m'ouvre le mixeur hda Intel. Est ce normal ?
celui-ci en tout cas, est au maximum partout
est ce que les cases doivent être cochées ou non ?

Et si tu fais un clic droit sur ton icone present dans la "boite a miniatures" et que tu clic ensuite sur "Choisissez le canal principal (master)?
Simplement pour verifier quel est ce fameux canal principal choisi... (et pas la prise casque comme ca m'est arrivé une fois :-? )
Active aussi les autres canaux pour voir si le master ne se trouve pas ailleurs (ça arrive parfois, quoi que ça fait un moment que je n'ai pas vu ce bogue...) en cliquant sur "configuration" "configurer les canaux"!

Tu peux faire une capture de tout les canaux stp?

Faudrait voir si il y a quelque chose de particulier à faire sur le site d'alsa-project pour cette puce...
