Juste un petit post pour poser deux petites questions (après une brève explication) :
Je me suis acheté y'a une semaine une carte D-Link DWA 645 en PCMCIA (Cardbus), j'ai installé les drivers
madwifi et autres
akmod-madwifi... Tout marche nickel.
Y'a juste un truc qui me chiffonne : quand je tente le
monitoring sous Fedora, ça me fait :
[root@localhost ~]# airmon-ng start ath0

wifi0 Atheros madwifi-ng
eth3 Centrino b ipw2100
ath0 Atheros madwifi-ng VAP (parent: wifi0) (VAP cannot be put in monitor mode)
(ma carte intégrée Intel en eth3 fonctionne nickel ; le fait de rajouter UNE carte PCMCIA me fait DEUX entrées :
wifi0 et
ath0)
Soit, je fais donc un petit
[root@localhost ~]# airmon-ng start wifi0
Interface Chipset Driver
wifi0 Atheros madwifi-ngiwconfig: unknown command "the"
the: Hôte inconnu
ifconfig: `--help' gives usage information.
eth3 Centrino b ipw2100

Et hop : une entrée de plus :
ath1 !
Et si je le refais, une troisième entrée apparaît :
ath2 ; et ainsi de suite...
NB : si je fais tout ceci sous Backtrack 3, ça fait pareil, sauf qu'après [
ath1 Atheros madwifi-ng VAP (parent: wifi0)], ça me met :
(monitor mode enabled). Et en utilisant l'interface "monitorée" (ici ath1), tout marche nickel...
Donc pourqoui ces dédoublements d'interfaces, et surtout pourquoi sous Backtrack 3 la carte veut bien être "monitorée", et pas sous ma petite Fedora ?
Edit : j'oubliais : ma nouvelle carte PCMCIA a/b/g/n capte moins bien (vraiment moins bien) que ma carte intégrée qui ne fait que a/b... Commenkeçaçefait ???
