je viens d'installer fedora 8 sur un pc mais aujourd'hui en le démrrant j'ai une erreur quand le système se lance :
"checking filesystem
fsck.ext3 : no such file or directory while trying to open ss/dev/Volgroup00/LogVol00
An error occured during the file system check
que me conseillez vous ?

Depuis l'installation, ton F8 a connu des démarrages corrects ou est-ce le premier démarrage ?
As-tu d'autres messages d'erreur avant le fsck.ext3 ?
Essaie de booter avec un CD/DvD rescue et sous root

C'est moment du boot du livecd que tu as ce message ou en faisant le fdisk.

en tout cas au boot je fais e2fsck /dev/dm-1 et j'ai l'erreur, il bad super block, j'essaie avec -b 8193 mais pareil

Pourquoi e2fsck /dev/dm-1 ? A partir de quel boot essaies-tu de lancer un e2fsck.
Si tu ne peux pas nous donner un 'fdisk -l' complet, cela sera difficile de t'aider.

ok en fait effectivement c'est le fstab qui a un souci les deux "ss" c'est pas normal
par contre au boot (sans live cd) je peux acceder au fstab mais pas le modifier, alors que je suis root
et à partir du live cd je n'arrive pas à capter ou il est
donc si vous voyez comment faire ...

Démarre en mode récupération (linux rescue), et chroot ton système (chroot /mnt/sysimage) va dans le répertoire cd /mnt/sysimage tu retrouveras l'arborescence de ton système non monté, maintenant tu vas dans /etc pour ouvrir/copier/modifier ton fichier fstab.

mount -oremount,rw /
comme ca tu pourra ecrire
