Est-ce que vous avez été confronté à des pb lors de l'install ?

Pour ma part, je viens de migrer a la F8, je tente l'install de Lotus apres décompression :

1er message d'erreur :

Le programme d'installation ne peut pas être exécuté en mode graphique. Essayez d'exécuter le programme d'installation avec la commande -console ou -silent.

Bon, je suis bête et discipliné, alors je fait ce qu'on me dit :

Mais là, ça se corse :

- j'ai des messages d'erreur dès le début à plusieurs reprises (non-bloquants) :

Le début de l'install se déroule quand même, mais après le gros de la copie des fichiers vers /opt/IBM/lotus/notes/ ça se termine avec une erreur :

Du coup ça lance une désinstall, qui elle même se termine par des erreurs d'ecriture impossible du répertoire ou du fichier /etc/lotus/notes/notesrc

Donc là encore, erreur !

J'ai vérifié ma version de Java qui est en 1.7.0 (IcedTea) mais à priori aucun rapport, l'install de Lotus ayant sa propre JRE. De toute façon, j'ai tenté une install apres suppression de java, et ça ne change rien.

J'ai remis alors libX11 dans sa version FC7 comme recommandé par le liens évoqué plus haut :

a) récupéreration de libX11-1.0.3-8.fc7.i386.rpm

b) l'installation forcée :
rpm -ihv --force libX11-1.0.3-8.fc7.i386.rpm
c) suppression de libX11-1.1.3-4.fc8.i386.

Au final, le pacquetage installé pour libX11 est bien celui de la FC7.

Ca ne change rien 🙁

J'ai également tenté de créer à la main le répertoire manquant avec des droits maxi... mais je retombe toujours sur le dernier message bloquant.

Bonjour. En installant la bibliothèque c++ standard de compatibilité (compat-libstdc++), ça devrait fonctionner ...

en fait, j'ai complété l'install de la F8, notamment avec cairo, compat-gcc, des compat-java...

moi aussi j'ai le même problème et les même messages d'erreure.
j'essaye d'installer lotus notes 8 sur ma F9 et je n'y arrive pas.
t'as pu résoudre le problème?

Du coup je pense que je vais tenter soit avec centos ou opensuse vu que RHEL et Suse sont certifiés pour Lotus par IBM.
as-tu testé avec la 8.0 ou la 8.5 ? Mes essais a moi c'était avec la 8.0.

du coup là je télécharge la 8.5 qui est maintenant livrée sous forme d'un paquet rpm. j'espère que ça va pouvoir s'installer avec un classique : 
sudo rpm -ivh ibm_lotus_notes-8.5.i586.rpm
