deye Bjr, voila mon pb est le suivant : j'ai installé fedora 7 sur +ieurs machines tt marchait tres bien sauf avec la combinaison CTRL ALT F7 (je peux partir sur les consoles virtuelles mais quand je veux revenir sur le graphique tout se bloque!) sur l'une des machines j'ai constaté dans le /var/log/messages les msgs suivants: Nov 1 18:02:10 petri gdm[2962]: gdm_config_parse : serveur X standard non trouvé ; essai des alternatives Nov 1 18:02:20 petri gdm[2992]: Impossible d'identifier l'utilisateur j'ai essayé avec le xorg.conf mais ca va pas. j'ai reinstallé Fedora 4 sur une autre pour voir mais je me retrouve avec des ecrans noirs lorsque je compose CTRL ALT F1-6 mais y a pas de blocage et le graphique marche tjrs. merci d'avance!
nouvo09 sauf que pour passer du graphique au texte tu dois faire ctrl-alt-F1 à F6 mais pour revenir au graphique, ctrl-F7 ca suffit !

deye j'ai essayé ctrl-F7 mais ca donne rien càd je reste sur la console(sur fedora 6) et demain je verifierai avec fedora 7 et 4. merci

nouvo09 Une idée à tout hasard: change le niveau d'init à 3 dans le fichier /etc/inittab, tu vas démarrer en mode texte. Tu vas te logger au prompt, puis pour lancer le graph tu tapes : startx regarde si tu as les mêmes blocages.
deye j'ai demarré en init 3 puis startx et à ce stade y a pas de pb tt marche tres bien! je peux partir aussi sur les consoles mais apres je pourrai plus revenir sur le graphique ! j'ai donc les mm blocages merci et je suis à l'écoute!
