Bonjour. Je n' arrive pas à me connecter à mon modem wifi. C'est un dongle usb 2 ayant un chipset zd1211. Avec Fedora 7, le firmware est installé par défaut. J'ai essayé de me connecter avec KNetworkManager puis avec l'outil configuration du réseau de fedora, mais rien à faire. Enfin, j'ai essayé manuellement en suivant la [url=http://doc.fedora-fr.org/Wifi-Configuration_en_mode_Managed]doc[/url] et au dernier paramètre (où il faut rentrer l'adresse MAC de l'appareil) j'ai une erreur : "Error for wireless request "Set AP Address" (8B14) : invalid argument"...et le wifi ne fonctionne toujours pas. ok... Tu as le materiel de reconnu et operationnel... Il te reste plus qu'a configurer ton acces Wifi ;-) Concernant la doc [url]http://doc.fedora-fr.org/Wifi-Configuration_en_mode_Managed[/url] utilise NetworkManager et NetworkManagerDispatcher. Clique sur l'icone correspondant et choisi ton reseau par son nom (essid). Si tu as une cle a rentrer, il te le proposera. That's all... ++

J'ai essayé de me connecter avec KNetworkManager puis avec l'outil configuration du réseau de fedora, mais rien à faire.

Enfin, j'ai essayé manuellement en suivant la doc et au dernier paramètre (où il faut rentrer l'adresse MAC de l'appareil) j'ai une erreur : "Error for wireless request "Set AP Address" (8B14) : invalid argument"...et le wifi ne fonctionne toujours pas.

Quelqu'un peut-il m'aidé ?

As tu essayé en désactivant SE linux? en désactivant le firewall?

Dans system-config-network as tu mis 0x devant ta clé si c'est une clé wep?

Que te renvois lsusb?

Le service Network manager est-il démarré?

Désolée pour toutes ces questions, mais j'essaye de faire avancer pour que quand les pros passent ils puissent t'aider d'avantage...

Concernant la doc http://doc.fedora-fr.org/Wifi-Configuration_en_mode_Managed
utilise NetworkManager et NetworkManagerDispatcher. Clique sur l'icone correspondant et choisi ton reseau par son nom (essid). Si tu as une cle a rentrer, il te le proposera.

Bonjour. Le problème c'est bien ça : mon matériel apparait comme détecté mais lorsque j'entre le essid puis la clé wep, cela ne fonctionne pas.

En plus, dans l'outil de configuration réseau de fedora, lorque je vais dans l'onglet matériel, ma clé usb n'apparait pas...

J'ai désactivé le firewall et SELinux pour tester, j'ai redémaré puis essayé de me conecter et ça ne fonctionne toujours pas.

Quelqu'un a une idée ?

As tu viens mis le 0x devant ta clé wep dans system-config-network comme je te l'avais dit?

Es ce que tu utilises le dhcp? si oui, es ce que tu as essayé en passant en IP fixe?

Une fois que tu as fait tout ça, dis nous ce que te renvois ifconfig et iwconfig.

Ma carte ethernet utilise le dhcp.
Le problème c'est que je ne peut pas configurer une adresse ip fixe pour le wifi, puisque mon dongle usb n'est pas détecté dans system-config-network, alors qu'avec les commandes dmesg / lsmod / iwconfig mon dongle usb est détecté.

Et si j'essaye de créer une nouvelle connexion wifi avec system-config-network, là non plus, mon matériel n'est pas détecté.

Je ne sais pas quoi faire. :-?

J'ai re-essayé de configurer en ligne de commande avec iwconfig.
Toute les infos sont bien rentrées et affichées (essid et clé wep) mais le critère "Access Point" est suivie de ...Not-Associated

Je me demande si cela ne viendrai pas du dongle en lui même. Pour info, c'est une Comtrend (CT-WN4320Z) avec un chipset ZyDas 1211.

J'ai essayé avec Knetworkmanager sans rentrer la clé wep, et à l'étape "configuring device", il affiche le message d'erreur "connection failure : could not connect to the network mon_essid"

J'ai essayé ce que ma dit kwizart mais ça ne marche pas. J'ai un message d'erreur :

Error for wireless request "Set Bit Rate" (8B20) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Operation not supported.

Et j'ai bien rentré mon essid et ma clé wep grâce à system-config-network.
J'ai essayé avec une ip fixe mais cela ne change rien.

Est-ce normal que dans l'onglet matériel, ma carte ethernet s'affiche, mais pas mon dongle usb ?

J'ai décoché la case "masquer le point d'accès" dans la configuration de mon modem et voilà : j'ai réussi à me connecter directement avec NetworkManager.
J'ai juste eu besoin de renseigner ma clé wep.

Je sais pas pourquoi je n'y ai pas penser plus tôt. :roll:
