pb de wifi

voici mon problème.

ma carte est bien installé mais voila se que jai par la suite

D'après le résultat de ta 2ème commande dans ton premier post, tu ne détectes aucun réseau. Tu peux nous en dire plus sur celui-ci ? diffuses-tu le SSID ou non ?
As-tu essayé de lancer NetworkManager ou bien configurer wpa_supplicant ?

non je n ai pas la doc
le ssid est bien en diffuser car mon autre portable se connecte dessus
networkmanager est lancé mais pour wpa je ne c pas le configurer car jai une clé wep

Une petite vérification de l'architecture de ton noyau et des kernel-modules installés :

1- Vérification des noyaux installés :
rpm -qa --queryformat "%{NAME}-%{VERSION}-%{RELEASE}.%{ARCH}\n" kernel*

2- Vérification du noyau utilisé :
uname -a

3- Vérification des kmod installés :
rpm -qa --queryformat "%{NAME}-%{VERSION}-%{RELEASE}.%{ARCH}\n" kmod*

Poste les résultats.

Pas de problème à ce niveau, tu es en i686, tu utilises bien le noyau pour lequel le kmod-madwifi est installé.

en haut a droite jai les connexions reseau et il y a bien le wifi mais impossible de me connecte au reseau

Euh, c'est pas parce que ton autre portable se connecte que le SSID est forcément diffusé.
La preuve, c'est que d'habitude je ne le diffuse pas et j'arrive à me connecter sauf mon macbook avec les pilotes madwifi expérimentaux (ça marche avec ndiswrapper). Vérifies sur ton routeur, si le SSID est bien diffusé et resteste le scan.
Quand je te demande des infos sur ton réseau: je voulais savoir si tu utilisais un chiffrage quelconque ou non etc ....
Pour information, NetworkManager gère aussi bien le WPA (1 & 2) que le WEP.

PS/ virez-moi cette merde de WEP et installez du WPA-PSK à la place (2 de préférence, le chiffrement est plus fort) si possible.
Une clé WEP se cracke en quelques minutes, et je rappelle que vous êtes légalement responsable de votre connexion.
PPS/ ton chipset est reconnu depuis quelques temps par madwifi ...

Utilise NetworkManager pour l'attribution de l'adresse IP par DHCP.
Pour un test quick and dirty, tu peux essayer :

# dhclient ath0

Pourquoi il y a du ipw2200 alors que tu as un chipset atheros?

Fais un rpm -qa | grep ipw pour voir.

Attention à ne pas essayer de configurer wifi0 !
Supprimes le fichier /etc/sysconfig/network-script/ifcfg-wifi0 si il existe
