Driver ati & iMac G3 rev. B

Bonjour,

Je viens d'installer FC6 sur un iMac G3 "bondi blue" rev. B, et ça merdoie méchamment niveau X. Je n'arrive pas à avoir quoique ce soit au niveau affichage graphique, je n'ai accès qu'à la console. L'écran passe en veille et je ne vois plus rien d'autre, je dois flinguer le serveur X pour retrouver la main.

J'ai lu une quantité de doc épouvantable sur le sujet, notamment qu'il vaut mieux utiliser le driver ati fourni sur Livna plutôt que le driver FC. Mais je n'ai pas trouvé comment faire pour installer le pilote "ati" fourni par Livna (boulet mode, désolé). J'ai lu aussi que le support 3D ne fonctionne pas avec cette carte graphique, ce qui m'importe peu, je voudrais juste pouvoir ouvrir une session X.

Regarde du coté de la commande "man radeon" ou un "man ati")! pour le rage pro ça doit aller car c'est supporté par le pilote open-source!

Le pilote proprio AMD/ATI n'est pas fait pour ton gpu! et chez livna il n'y a rien pour les power pc (ton style de cpu!)

ensuite :

La section monitor manque, mais le driver indique clairement qu'il prend des valeurs par défaut. Enfin, faut quand même que je vois ça, parce qu'il ne trouve aucune résolution pour fonctionner... Mais je doute que ça suffise vu ce qu'il y a ci-dessus, non ?
