Bonsoir a tous

Deja, desole si je me suis goure de section, mais mon probleme a rien a voir avec l'installation, le hardware ou quoi que ce soit. C'est pas non plus un probleme de conf mais j'ai pas trouve mieux 🙂

Depuis aujourd'hui, quand j'ouvre ma session j'ai droit a ca au milieu de mon ecran :

J'ai aucune idee de pourquoi comment mais c'est la...

Quelqu'un sait ce que c'est ?

Je dirai que t'as la poisse...
Pour savoir ce qui se passe, il faut debugger. Je te dirai :
# gdb le_chemin_vers_ton_gnome_etc
puis run
et regarder quand ca plante...

PS : tu as aussi ddd pour la version graphique.

Essaye d'installer l'outil de debug gnome suggere...

J'ai essaye une fois en troisieme annee pour debugger mes programmes en C, j'ai trouve ca tellement pratique que j'ai decide de debugger avec la fameuse methode des printf :lol:

Plus serieusement, je veux bien essayer, mais je debugge quel programme ?

Parce que j'ai pas de gnome-settings-daemon sur mon ordi... :-?

Bochecha,
Tu as ddd (Data Display Debugger) qui est une surcouche graphique de gdb.
D'apres ton dump, c'est l'executable gnome-settings-daemon
Installe comme suggere l'outil bug-buddy.

Il faut essayer de voir a quel moment ca plante...c'est un peu aller a la peche...

L'outil bug-buddy a installe gdb en dependance donc je suppose que la trace qu'il me donne est une trace de debuggage gdb, seulement j'u comprends rien... :-o

hum...
les "no degugging symbols", c'est du au fait que tu n'as pas la table des symboles pour le debug au niveau symbolique...

D'apres les traces, l'erreur est due a un probleme avec le systeme dbus...maintenant, va savoir pourquoi.

PS : pour l'erreur, j'ai recherche la chaine de caracteres "error" dans les traces ou un SIGSEGV. C'est pas un segmentation violation mais une erreur "banale" sur le dbus.

PS2 : vais aller faire dodo...la bete est HS ! a demain et bonne nuit...

À propos de "gnome-settings-daemon", j'ai aussi ce message d'erreur lorsque je lance gnome-theme-manager. Il me jette en me disant qu'il doit y avoir un problème avec Bonobo !
Donc, les divers thèmes ne s'appliquent plus 🙁( Faut tout que je me farcisse à la main et c'est loin
d'être parfait.

FC6 installée ce matin (1 h 40 c'est pas trop long), yum update illico, 107 packages
à mettre à jour, dont Xemacs. Et là j'ai pété un cable. Je les trouve gonflés de faire un update
de Xemacs avec une version CVS, buggée et qui ne lit pas en plus les fichiers de conf (init.el et
custom.el) que j'ai mis des années à peaufiner, et qui ne sait pas ce qu'est l'iso-8859-1 et
qui ne trouve pas mon serveur nntp, et... mais la liste est trop longue !!! 🙁(((
La version 21.4.19.fc5 fonctionnait parfaitement. Donc, "yum remove" la nouvelle et réinstall
de la 21.4.19.fc5. Et comme par enchantement tout est rentré dans l'ordre 🙂

Si je tenais celui qui m'a fait ce coup...

Bon, je me bat toujours avec ces putains de thèmes/bonobo/gnome-settings... 🙁(

Content de pas etre tout seul. Moi ca a aucun rapport ave les themes par contre, j'y suis jamais alle... Par contre, maintenant que tu m'y fais penser, ca pourrait etre apparu au reboot suivant ma tentative infructueuse avec Beryl... M'en rappelle plus. C'est chiant de pas devoir rebooter apres chaque install sous Linux, au moins comme ca on saurait apres quel truc est apparu la m***e !

Sinon, tout pareil que toor05 : quelqu'un a une idee ?

Tout simplement en detruisant mon utilisateur puis en le rereant... Moyen comme solution :-?
