Voilà, c'est un peu long mais tout doit y être.
Si j'ai bien tout suivi, je n'ai pas de service DHCP client d'installé (ou tout au moins en cours d'exécution). Mais peut être est-ce dû au fait que la carte eth0 est en configuration manuelle au lieu d'une attribution par DHCP?
Je n'ai pas fini de faire les MAJ avec gnome_yum de tous les paquetages installés par défaut. Il y en a une sacrée quantitée depuis la sortie de l'image ISO de FC5 😉 .

Je viens de re-essayer de configurer la carte avec DHCP, et là MIRACLE ? le DHCP fonctionne. Ma carte est active et l'adresse et tous les paramètres prévus par le serveur DHCP ont bien été configuré. Par contre, la commande dhcpclient revoie le me message.
Je ne saurais dire si :
- celà vient des MAJ déjà effectuées
- ou d'ailleurs.
En tout cas merci pour vos aides.
Je vais poursuivre les MAJ des autres modules et essayer de configurer mon poste avec ma "petite conf. à moi" plutôt que l'installation par défaut.
