Désactive le service et fais en sorte qu'il ne se lance pas au démarrage.

Pourquoi vouloir le virer ... au pire c'est ton fichier de conf qui est foireux... dans ce cas tu remets celui d'origine.
Si tu as des doutes sur des fichiers annexes (au fichier de conf) lances une vérification via rpm :

rpm -V cups

A cause des dependances ...
il y a moyen de s'en sortir avec --nodeps de RPM mais attention (je n'ai pas regardé toute ta liste) tu peux casser la distro si tu le fais sur un package vital (genre openssl ou krb5)

Une fois le service viré de toute manière, il te prend juste quelques MO sur ton disque et c'est tout... il ne fait plus rien, tu peux le laisser.

Je vais essayé de remmettre le cupsd.conf avant de tout cassé.
Mais j'ai pas été fin, j'ai virer le original.
Si qq1 peut me le passer. 😉

La dépendance n'est probablement pas directe ... cups enleves un truc (qui enleve un truc n fois)... qui est nécessaire a vlc ...
