voilà, j'ai refait l'installation de ma dc5 (car gnome plantait au démarrage :/), et je me suis dit "et si j'installais l'acceleration 3D pour toucher du xgl" (j'ai flashouillé dessus).
j'installe donc livna, ensuite je fais :
yum install kmod-nvidia
il télécharge kmod avec xorg-drv-nvidia quelque chose (un truc du genre).
je fais crtl+alt+backspace. déjà x est long a redémarrer, je le sens mal. Enfin il redémarre, mais pas d'écran nvidia qui m'indique que ça a marché :/

Ca commence mal... Comme vous pouvez le voir, il y a marqué vesa et non nvidia. Et bien entendu glxgears me donne ceci :
[ldb@localhost ~]$ glxgears

En ouvrant mon xorg.0.log je trouve ceci :
(EE) Failed to initialize GLX extension (Compatible NVIDIA X driver not found)
Après avoir installé kmod, ya-t-il une manipulation particulière à faire (exemple : modifier xorg.conf que je n'ai pas vérifié avant le reboot :-D) ?
bref, je me risque à modifier moi-même xorg.conf en mettant nvidia à la place de vesa. un petit reboot et... non. idem.
