Wusb54g + ndiswrapper

C'est REmoi...
Alors voilà, j'ai installé ndiswrapper comme suit:

1. Décompresser archive

2. cd ->répertoire

3. make install

Donc là tout marche au niveau théorique...

Ensuite, je veux installer mon driver pour Wusb54g v.4...

Je procède comme suit:

[root@localhost ~]# ndiswrapper -i /home/Wusb54g/WUSB54G.inf
Installing wusb54g
[root@localhost ~]# ndiswrapper -l
Installed drivers:
wusb54g         driver installed
[root@localhost ~]# ndiswrapper -m
modprobe config already contains alias directive

[root@localhost ~]# sudo depmod -a
[root@localhost ~]# sudo modprobe ndiswrapper
FATAL: Module ndiswrapper not found.
[root@localhost ~]#

... Je ne comprends pas l'avant dernière ligne!!
Pourquoi dit-il que le module ndiswrapper n'a pas été trouvé?

Secondo, après "ndiswrapper -m", je devrais voir cette citation:

You should then see a message along the lines of: Adding "alias wlan0 ndiswrapper" to /etc/modprobe.conf

Si jamais, j'ai suivi ce tuto:

On dirait que ton depmod ne marche pas.
Tu peux toujours essayer a la main de trouver ton module ndiswrapper.ko puis "insmod ndiswrapper.ko"
Au fait quand tu es root, pas besoin de sudo.

normalement, tu dois pouvoir le trouver dans le repertoire ou tu as compile.

a moins que ce soit pas ndiswrapper.ko ... tu pourrais poster ton /etc/modprobe.conf ?

Pourquoi tu utilises pas les rpm ndiswrapper de livna avec le kmod-ndiswrapper de ton noyau ? J'ai la même carte que toi et ça marche parfaitement ?

Ben si tu as "modprobe config already contains alias directive" c'est que tu as sans doute déjà fait auparavant un "ndiswrapper -m" ==> c'est bon de ce côté là.

ajoute le chemin de ndiswrapper.ko suivi de ":" au fichier /lib/modules/`uname -r`/modules.dep
par exemple :

attention ! n'oublie pas de mettre 2 ">" sinon ca remplace le fichier par la ligne !

apres ca modprobe -v ndiswrapper devrait marcher et utiliser l'alias de /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper

fais un rmmod /home/ndiswrapper/ndiswrapper-1.10/driver/ndiswrapper.ko
puis modprobe -v ndiswrapper

Autre question : iwconfig | grep wlan0 t'a vraiment donne ca, ou rien puis tu as fait un iwconfig apres ? :-o
