[Résolu] Kmod carte graphique 82865G d'intel

Bonjour la communauté!

Je recherche comment installer le bon kmod pour ma carte graphique 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller d'Intel et surtout où le trouver. Sur ma configuration actuelle, elle ne peut pas monter plus haut que 1024x728 en résolution alors que mon écran est de 1280x1024. J'ai lu sur internet que cette carte suporte 1280x1024 comme résolution. Je suis sur Gnome, merci de m'aider :)


Un ordinateur sans Windows, c'est comme un gâteau au chocolat sans ketchup.
Le mode sans échec, une preuve que Windows est un échec!
Windows est multitâches; il peut démarrer et planter en même temps.

Les pilotes intel sont déjà inclu dans Fedora.

Peux tu nous donner le contenu du fichier /var/log/Xorg.0.log?


Linux, ya moins bien, mais c'est plus chèr!!!

Tu es sous Fedora 14, tu aura surement plus de chance sous Fedora 17 ou 18, qui intégrent forcément un driver intel plus récent.
En tout cas ton Xorg.0.log avec toutes les lignes commencant par intel(0) indique bien que c'est le driver que tu utilises. Après ce driver intérroge ton ecran via EDID qui lui indique les résolutions possibles. Et en effet il ne propose pas plus de 1024x768. Cela arrive de temps en temps ce genre de soucis, ça dépend des ecrans, du pilote etc. On peut configurer xorg pour ne pas utiliser l'EDID et forcer une résolution, mais c'est pas garantie. Est-ce qu'on prend cette peine ou tu va tenter avec une Fedora plus récente?


Linux, ya moins bien, mais c'est plus chèr!!!
