C'est bon, mon wifi marche avec Fedora 9, noyau 2.6.26.
Voici la procédure pour mon Wind U100-251 avec le noyau Fedora 9...
J'ai identifié le chipset Wifi, il s'agit d'un Atheros AR5B91. Le driver à utiliser est l'ath9k. Il est dans le noyau 2.6.27 qui sera utilisé dans Fedora 10. Donc cette procédure sera inutile avec Fedora 10 😉
Il faut télécharger les sources du driver pour le noyau 2.6.26 sur :
http://wireless.kernel.org/download/compat-wireless-2.6/compat-wireless-old.tar.bz2
# wget http://wireless.kernel.org/download/compat-wireless-2.6/compat-wireless-old.tar.bz2
Ensuite, on décompresse, on compile et on installe. Cela prend un peu de temps car cela compile une collections de drivers Wifi :
# tar -xvjf compat-wireless-old.tar.bz2
# cd compat-wireless-2.6-old
# make
# make install
On installe le driver ath9k :
# modprobe ath9k
Et on regarde les traces :
# dmesg
