Ma carte WIFI à disparue.
ifconfig ne la montre plus, me montre :

Est-ce que par hasard un bouton n'aurait pas malencontreusement éteint matériellement ta carte wifi ?

Je pète un câble (suite à mon problème de réseau sans fil 🙁) !

Je n'ai pas trouvé la solution, j'ai réinstallé (super...).

ça remarche deux ou trois jours, puis hop, ça ne remarche plus, la carte à disparue. C'est énervant... Je pense que c'est NetworkManager suite à l'insertion d'une 3G.

Ou sont les fichiers de conf de NetworkManager ? Rien ne parle de mes interfaces dans les fichiers que j'ai trouvé...

Je ne pense pas que ce soit la version de NM, il n'y a pas eu de changement entre le moment ou ça fonctionnait et le reboot, ou ma carte à disparue. Je pense que c'est le moment ou j'ai pluggé ma clef 3G.

Le seul moyen que j'ai trouvé pour contourner cela :

Désinstaller NM
Recréer toutes mes interfaces (en desinstallant NM, mes interfaces ont sauté)
Recréer les fichiers ifup
et roule ma loutre :-P


M'enfin, un bon GROS moment de stress et de galère (lors de mon précédent poste, j'étais en intervention chez le client...)

Je vais retester ça plutard mais je n'ai vraiment pas fait de manip tordue, je ne vois pas pourquoi ça a fait cela. Si j'arrive à reproduire le problème "proprement", j'ouvrirais un bug, la en l'état, ça ferait trop brouillon comme bug.

J'ai eu le même problème depuis le 2 Mars 2011 avec la MAJ de Network Manager après reconnection de la session plus de carte....

lspci ne montre plus ma carte wifi ( laptop )

J'ai loader les kernels antérieur sans succès donc j'attends une MAJ de NM ou du Kernel.... sinon l'ethernet fonctionne toujours.

Je viens de voir que Vmplayer peut utiliser ma carte wifi RALINK.

Donc peut-être que le problème vient de là mais je me souviens que je n'ai pas rencontrer de problème de Wifi durant l'utilisation de Vmplayer.....

La commande lspci retourne l'indentifiant pci de tous les périphériques connectés même les plus exotiques pour lesquels aucun pilote n'est disponible....

Sur le site de fedoraunity.org j'ai cherché une explication mais je n'ai pas trouvé ma réponse
ya pas un bouton rfkill? un switch matériel qui désactiverait la carte wifi. Car je ne vois pas non plus comment un logiciel comme network manager pourrait supprimer un materiel. Poste nous le résultat de la commande "dmesg".

Dans Network-Manager GUI je peux créer un Ad-hoc par exemple puis fermer la config mais si je veux modifier la clé ou autre paramètre tout devient grisé.
Ya du virtualbox sur ta machine, essaye de tout enlever si tu t'en sers pas. Vu que déjà au niveau configuration réseau il a créer un bridge sur wlan0, peut etre que ça perturbe NM. C'est une clef wifi usb? rt73usb?

Pas de clef wifi usb c'est une carte intégrer au laptop.

Je vais virer virtualbox bien que VMware et Virtualbox ne m'avais pas poser de problème jusque là
Avant de toucher à ton système, tu peux booter sur un Fedora Live et regarder si la commande lspci trouve ta carte wifi....
t'as testé un dmesg | grep wlan* ?
au cas ou ta carte soit devenue wlan1 ?

j'ai deja vu ca avec des carte qui change de mac ! c'est juste une idée elle peut etre débile.....

+1, s'il ne la trouve pas, cela pourrai aussi bien dire que ta carte wifi est morte, et tu auras beau bidouiller ce que tu veux dans ta fedora, cela ne la fera pas ressusciter...

Désolé mais je suis en dual boot avec Win 7 et aucun soucis de wifi.

Je vais tester la réponse de chepioq mais même si le live découvre ma carte wifi que devrais je faire par la suite ?
