Ecran: mauvaise configuration et stries horizontales

Bonsoir à tous,

J'ai installé une F10 64 bits sur mon pc portable (hp dv7 1034) ainsi que le driver Nvidia et les codecs propriétaires.

Malheureusement mon écran (17") est mal détecté, des stries sont visibles lorsque je déplace rapidement une fenêtre ou quand je lis une vidéo.

Nvidia settings donne une fréquence correcte pour l'écran (60 Hz) qui est identique à celle de windows. Je suppose donc que le problème vient d'un réglage en finesse de Xorg.

Que dois je ajouter à Xorg?

Essaye en installant le akmod-nvidia 180.22.1 de rpmfusion-nonfree-updates-testing.

Salut,

akmod-nvidia 180.22.1 ne peut s'installer qu'avec le dernier noyau.

J'ai donc joué avec le feu et j'ai activé les dépôts Rawhide pour upgrader ma F10.

Les mises à jour se sont bien déroulée mais tout à crashé au 1er redémarrage.

Je vois grub, puis la barre de chargement, une fois celle ci terminée ça n'avance plus et je dois redémarrer.

As tu une astuce pour installer nvidia 180.22.1 sans passer par la rawhide?

Tu as utilisé nvidia-settings en root ce qui est explicetement interdit comme spécifié dans la doc nvidia de ce site.
(à la section problèmes connus).

Tu aurais du simplement rebooter sans bidouiller tes fichiers de configuration

En fait je me suis mis en root uniquement pour essayer d'installer les drivers proposés par chepioq.

Voyant qu'il fallait le dernier noyau pour finaliser l'installation, j'ai décidé de faire une upgrade complète vers rawhide.

Tu penses que je devrai réinstaller F10, puis passer directement en rawhide?

PS: Pas d'inquiétude pour les données et mon aptitude à tout faire planter: F10 était vierge et j'ai conservé une partition opérationnelle avec windows vista 🙁

Si tu as installé la rawhide, je pense en effet que si tu veux une fedora stable tu devrai la ré-installé.
Et tu n'est pas obligé d'installé la rawhide pour pouvoir beneficier du akmod-nvidia 180.22.1.
Une fois que tu as réinstallé ta fedora, tu fais un update général (sans installer le kmod-nvidia), et ensuite un yum install akmod-nvidia --enablerepo=rpmfusion-nonfree-updates-testing
Tu redémarres et cela devrai fonctionner sans problème.

J'ai fait ce que as dit.

Réinstall + mises à jour et ensuite installation du driver nvidia (le 180.22.1 venait tout juste de rentrer dans les dépots "stables").
Malheureusement le problème persiste.

Une idée?
Rajouter manuellement des fréquences dans Xorg?

Merci Chepioq!

Tu as réglé mon problème! (Bdp c'est moi, mais j'ai perdu mon mot de passe 🙁)
Avant (mais avec F11_64) glxgears me donnait 59 fps, ce qui est très faible et signe d'un disfonctionnement.
J'ai donc regardé ton xorg puis le mien. Il me manquait une ligne, que j'ai rajouté:

 ModulePath   "/usr/lib64/xorg/modules/drivers"

J'ai redémarré et glxgears me donne environ 2600 fps, ce qui est bien plus correct!
Fini les stries dans les vidéos (films et streaming)!

Mais qu'est ce que c'est que cette histoire de ligne driver dans ModulePath! Nan c'est pas cela qui a résolu ton problème.

Un glxinfo est plutot le signe que le driver nvidia n'est pas activé, est ce que tu as rebooté ?
Est ce que nouveau est chargé ? cd la doc nvidia de ce site.

Quel version du pilote utilises tu ?
cat /proc/drivers/nvidia/version ?

Ah, pourtant c'est la seule chose que j'ai modifié.

Non, j'ai bien suivi la doc jusqu'au bout et désactivé Nouveau. La commande "lsmod |grep nouveau" ne donne donc aucune réponse.

Quel version du pilote utilises tu ?
cat /proc/drivers/nvidia/version ?

Version 185.18.31 (sur F11 64 bits)

Par contre la commande ne donne rien:

Il y a un truc qui me chiffonne.
Quand j'active le benchmark de compiz, je plafonne à 59 fps alors qu'avec glxgears j'ai 2600 fps.
Pourquoi?
